well it is inconsistent, but the bottom line is that squads should qualify anyway and not put themselves in that position. Still, metalkid is right. When TWD first resets, all squads are at 1000 rating so your ave r is going to be down low. Toward the end even average skilled squads have around 1200 or so, maybe a little less in JD. So a squad that comes in and plays the same squads will have a better ave r because of when they played who the played, and not just who they played. I've advocated ave r being taken into consideration for a while now, but only really when there were squads like heavy around that were notorious for picking on newbs

pascone is a bad op though, just like the last couple that weve had so this is no surprise that people question his decisions frequently

more than half their games were against non twl squads. of the 8 games against twl squads, 4 of them were heracy. two against dice and thunder. avoided style and hydra. they did what heavy did. did you both looking at who they even played?

no, I didnt because I dont care. If I cared I would have at least whined about selective invitations in one league and not the other, but im going away by the end of the season so it doesnt bother me in the slightest. I'm just pointing out that if you're going to go by who they have beaten, come out and say it. Don't hide behind ave r when the real reason is 'you havent beaten anyone'. At this point I have nothing more to say about it. You made the right decision by doing so. In the future, when you're going to do this in one league, look at the kind of squads sage won against in DD in the early part of october and september.

Put into perspective, over a 90 game period thats 41 wins, 11 of which being against TWL opponents. Is that not better than what Fistula managed to accomplish? I think theres a case there..but ill leave the rest up to the TW community I'm done whining about a season I dont particularly care about

while that is true, plade didn't challenge a squad that was just created (1 member on the squad) in an attempt to get more points, like quicksand did

LOL Izor you're just still, to this day, embarrassed about how Heavy went undefeated against Quicksand in the 20-30 matches we played you. We played everyone from Sk8 to Diso to Syndicate to whoever and had like a 1400+ rating, we were so far off from the cutoff line it wasn't even close, I think we we're in the Top 5 if I'm not mistaken. We only played a few matches the week prior to TWL to play it safe and you're still crying about it.

The only reason we didn't make playoffs was because us and Sk8 we're both 5-5 and the mods judged that their higher +/- meant they got in, even though we beat Sk8 in our TWL match.

Just because Quicksand is a joke doesn't mean you have to try to project onto Heavy. Sad that your one claim to fame is a win vs. Thunder.
