Great Idea about League Structure

I believe the best way to add more competition to league, is by seperating the leagues.

January - June : Dueling league, TWLJ and TWLD

September - January: Basing league and Spider league ( Twsdx )

This will add alot more squads into twl, make people able to recruit more people. People are allowed to bring different rosters to different league.

I.E. for dueling can Have squad like Style as it is, but than when they recruit for basing they can just recruti pure basers, and such so rosters aren't finite.

Whiners will come out and say that they need to be triple champions and don't want to be ss nerds for the whole year ... only 3 months.

I think this actually has some merit. The zone loses a lot during the off season, and many people never come back

not a bad idea eelam. I think this will get the spider league started up too, because people would be bored just playing TWLB, and good duelers can be very good dueling spiders, as long as you got the aim and know how to team.

not a new idea but definitely a good time to start implementing it

i've been impressed with the amount of action that's been taken in the past few months to increase population and activity (the removal of 36 hr rule in elim was a good one) - keep it up and there might be hope for SS yet

this will also increase competition in every league. Will create duelers to learn how to base, to play in basing league and it will create basers to learn how to duel in both wb and jav. Implement this idea! I think this is the best way to increase competition, rather than trying to get NEW people, its better to try to improve the game of people who playing now. You might even see squad like Build or Tough learning how to base, and seeing the effort they put into dueling they might get good at it, and you might see squads like penetrate learning how to duel, seeing the effort they put into basing, they might become good in that.

all in all, what have we got to lose? this season isnt going as well as past ones. something to shake it up would be good.

after reading kim's post in the other thread, concerning the auto-dissolve after each season. that makes it somewhat like a draft league; an idea which i like. i really hope we do something to take advantage of these ideas.

Aye, Kim came up with an idea 90% like this a long time ago and it got shot down then. Maybe it's not a bad idea to give it a shot for one season. The only thing that might be a problem is that this idea wouldn't give TWL that much needed yearly break.
