Great Idea about League Structure

TW is a train and the rest of the world is flying around in airplanes.

Can this train hang around and offer nostalgic trips to those who like the old ways or are afraid of flying? Sure. But people need to stop thinking that there is a some panacea that is going to cause growth and prosperity in this game. TW serves it’s small purpose but there is no real value in change for change’s sake.

How many threads, how many failed ideas are we going to sit through before it finally sinks in that TW/SS is simply past it's prime and will never grow unless someone is willing to spends big bucks to give it a future?

We should go for the separation of leagues.

I remember you mentioned this few seasons ago didn't you? Be honest I don't agree with this idea few years ago, but after all the things happened this season. This idea is the best solution if there will be TWL after this season.

TWL-squads must be active to qualify
-> competetion level will increase
-> there wont be any inactive squads that dissolve during season

complete opposite imo, actually competition would increase and squads would be more active during the season

be honest, competing with squads for higher TWD ratings to quality for TWL is alright, but when the qualification period is too long, we will get bored after qualification and during TWL as well (could be bias because i don't like playing TWD at all, would only play for TWL and im sure im not the only one who thinks that way)

Well as I said, you could test it and see if it works.
In the worst case nothing really wont be changed from how it is now.

But as someone said here in this thread. some people prefer one league on another and will focus on that league. making separate leagues will make them TWD more time between their league favorite season.
Instead of separate the leagues, just make two TWL seasons in a year (like it was now?).

You do realize TWL is currently once a year ... and this already happens, right?

well... then the basing squads etc will really stop basing... in off season there are some squads playing..

if you have to have 80% same roster in every league then this might work out. So out of 36 ppl (league roster limit) you can axe/replace 7ppl

Everyone talks about lack of activity during off-season, but that's a quite normal thing. It happens everywhere, take football as an example, players have their break when season ends. Why make such a big drama about it?
However, if you really want people to show in that period, do a more competitive TWEL during off-season and allow not only 1 on 1 duels, but also 2 on 2.
