When looking at the 'On The Move' section of the web site, I see all these people joining Savanger on 12/11/07.

Then on 12/12/07 there is an league announcement saying that Lifeban quit and Savanger is in?

I smell a conspiracy. Pascone should be investigated. Da1 has volunteered to do the body cavity search on Pascone. Tone is monitoring all spaceships leaving Earth to prevent Pascone from getting away without answering for his actions. Spinsanity is monitoring Right Wing communications to make sure that Pascone is not working with them.

The rules of the lock are pretty ridiculous for our size of playerbase. There ought to be just 1 lock after which everyone in TWL is "locked" to their squad. At that point, people should still be able to join the league who were not rostered on any team when the lock happened, but anyone already rostered on a twl squad should not be able to play for any other team for the rest of the season.

So basically the difference would be getting rid of the hard lock completely and tightening up the soft lock to take away the incentive that retards get for leaving their squad, taking 5-6 people with them to work the twd ladder, and getting back into twl when the squad they left dies off.

and also i dont think pascone knew lifeban dissolved ephe, i remember pming him and telling him "hey lifeban did .?squaddissolve but they still have a roster", and then looking at it later that day and seeing no captain and pming him telling him he should "give savanger their spot in twl"

and i think savanger has been around quit a few weeks hasnt it? im not sure where all the players came from but i think the majority of them have not played twl this season

yes exalt did initially inform me but they did still have a twd roster so i couldn't technically do anything until i heard from tanzu and i didn't hear from him until like 9-10pm that day. of course the system isn't perfect, but like i said, is it so bad that a replacement squad (mind you they can't make playoffs) gets extra players through loopholes to become more competitive?

Agreed. If someone comes back from a long vacation why not allow them to join up a TWL squad? Also, it would be good if a squad is in a bad situation, like some squads are now, where they could use a few more people and might even be willing to recruit someone from pub or wherever to bring on some new pilots. It saves the squad from not showing enough people and it gets someone else involved in TWL again, or for the first time.

The bigger problem is that the current system keeps new players from pumping air into the lungs of a "dying league".
