you've seen how much i've been bashed on this forum, would you want to contribute anymore time to this league? probably not. and honestly, it would be a lot more than 10 minutes especially with the lack of powers i actually have making getting information that much harder. that said, there are new players getting the opportunity to play. in fact, if it were the other way (as the original message suggests) less people would get to play. as for this other suggestion, i haven't got around to reading it yet

Even if it only took 10 minutes of work, it wouldnt be done this season anyway u idiot. It would be done in the offseason b4 next season started. U dont just change a rule like this midseason to suite some ppl who join nerdy squads who dissolve bc they cant compete. I mean really, who on lifeban is that much of a threat that ur scared of savanger now? Besides, the way u say it why would any staff member want to change it. Didnt you learn that the way to get something in life isnt to act like a childish moronic jackass and make small jabs at them. Its to politely annoy them about it, or get others to back ur opinion. Either way u look stupid for what u just said considering the time pascone alone puts into 1 week of TWL. Besides, dont u think the time they all put in now isnt enough?

the locks should just be taken out completely so members of squads which dissolve mid-twl because of a-hole captains can rejoin another twl squad and continue their campaign! Look at it this way...the amount of squads which have dissolved this season already is ALOT; and i very much doubt most of them were a squad decision but by a captain's instinct/newbiness, think of how many players from 1 squad dissolve will now be missing out on competing for the rest of this twl season...20+? Taking out locks will stop twl inactivity and hopefully increase competition (although of course then we have the problem of squad hoppers, but this shouldnt really effect anything and the top squads have rosters full of loyal pilots anyway).

I believe it use to be like that ricko without any roster locks. And what happend was simple to figure out. Later in the season, when the playoff picture is basicaly set, you have those squads who wont make it dissolve, or the people on them leave the squad to join a playof squad, making some of the lower playoff seeded squads way stronger then they were all season. The hard lock was to prevent this from happening, and personaly i agree with that. You need some kind of lock a few weeks before playoffs begin.

And nowdays you cant just have it like the soft lock where ppl cant join once they are on a squad. Because they simply go and make an alias or play from a different computer and do the same thing as above.

I think people who have not played twl should be able to join any time during the season. This way squads who dont have enough can just recruit newbs and add them in the lineup. This way noone drops out, newbs get twl playing time and incentive to keep playing the game. Everybody is happy!

i'm fairly certain someone already said this but i thought moving the soft lock to week 6 and then getting rid of the hard lock was the best idea.
