we've done the voting in the past a bunch of times. often times, they don't show up. this way, i figure more people would show up as they would get a chance to play. and i guess it wouldn't be an all star game but a twl event instead..

exactly, at least name it a twl event so people know not to really care. there are plenty of active people out there that you could make a couple good twl allstar teams if yiou want to, but who cares, right?

I don't think that many people care about the all-star game - that has at least been the general consensus the last few seasons. I also don't think having it on a saturday will raise more interest...<_<

Entire twl thing has been a joke, the best have either not played or cared to play good. An all-star game would be laughable at best.

this idea for an ALL STAR game is the most ridicilous I've ever heard, because there aren't enough all stars to make an all star game interesting and it isn't something to aim for as a player; your solution is to make it a DM-game to which everyone is invited??
how does that make any sense? it simply has nothing to do with TWL at all.. could as well go play a game of waldo, and the winner is our TWL ALLSTAR!!!

let's just give the season mvp to megaman89, who is more on top of every list than sika in his prime, and move on, shall we?

Or just take two people out of each TWL squad thus far that is kickin' ass and just mix everyone up.. Just play it on a day back to back games.. Thats what makes an all-star. Not voting, fuck, people wouldn't vote for me even if I was 100-30.

well it seems people might like the old all star game, but would you have a problem with it being two weeks from now on it's own weekend before twl starts? of course, if that's the case, the top squads (style, dice in twld, dice in twlj, and pandora and penetrate in twlb) wouldn't play for another 4weeks...'

which is why i suggest the saturday of next week for it. there are what, 6 make up games and pandora plays in 3 of them, so it might be somewhat difficult to put the all star games on sunday... well, the ld could be on sunday probably.

I personally believe that this years "all-star" games are gonna be atleast as shitty as last twl's with the decreasing population and lack of interest. plus the fact that it's held saturday. All i remember from last year is that the twlb allstar game was 10min point race and boz's basing miracle john was playing (He just happened to be in the arena and participated in ld and lj that season). If u make it a dm that everyone can participate, would it be an all-star game? Just skip it
