Right now there's 12 teams, and everyone plays eachother so that's 11 games and with the current playoff system there's 4 rounds including championship game = 11 +4 =15 weeks of games.
Right now the top 3 from each division goes to playoffs?

How about the regular season stays the same. 12 teams, everyone plays eachother. Form rankings from #1 to #6 in each division. Set up a bracket where everyone plays in the playoffs. It'd still be 4 weeks of playoffs including the championship.
Top two teams in each division get a bye week. It'd be the same bracket as American Football plays now. Single elimination. It'd be fun b/c each team has a sht and there'd always be some surprises as to who wins.
Regular season would still matter b.c the higher ranking you get the easier your playoff schedule will be.
