Why Trench Wars is dieing.

Now there are many opinions on why Trenchwars seems to be slowly dieing more and more each day; loss of interest, lack of players, no real competition. The fact of the matter is they’re all right. But I’ve figured out what the real reason for it all is. BAD CAPPING. Bad capping is the root of all the reasons why Trenchwars is turning into a boring, sad, and pathetic little zone. We all want to cap a squad but it’s such a fucking pain in the ass to do. Unless you go around sucking everyone’s ego-cock, no members on a squad give a fuck what the cap says or does. You get in an argument with the cap and he kicks your or you quit, who cares? In two minutes you can find yourself a new squad. This just results in the next problem. No fucking competition. There’s only two fucking good basing squad in all of Tw, Dice and Pandora, and we all know it. The rest of the friggan pack are a bunch of low rate, second string basers who can barely hold a cram. Why? Because all the real good players have flocked to these two squads, stopped playing base, or just quit the game. What’s fun about having two powerhouses dominate, it’s like watching baseball and seeing the Red Sox and Yankees in the World Series again. But let me bring myself back to my real point. The captains these days are horrible. Except Sarger :grin: . The worst cap I’ve ever seen in my life is now controlling Paladen and is slowly killing the squad as well. There really is no such thing as discipline in Continuum and because of all these problems in a year or so Twl will be made up of half pub squads. I wouldn’t be surprised if Twl dies itself if things keep up. Whatever happened to the real competition that we had back in the day? There were 15-20 great squads and they all competed during the year to be the best. I just wish we could have some type of draft pick type scenario we’re all the tw players were randomized to 32 teams or w.e. and the only way you could get off a squad is if you’re traded or we had some type of free agent system. I think staff should really consider the idea because it might just save the game.

In conclusion:
1.Staff should seriously consider my idea about set teams
2.Players should be penalized for disobeying caps, talking during the game, etc.
3.Dethdefire should be stripped of his captain ability because it would be a shame to see Paladen die like this and whoever gave him captain powers should be punched in the dick.
4.And no this whole topic is not a shot at Dethdefire, I’ve only had like 3 friggan good caps: Lunch3, Brookus, and Sarger :grin: and I’ve been on like 15 squads or w.e.

heres a good hint, don't join squads with bad captains that you can see being bad a mile away... heres another hint, dont join paladen.... heres another hint, join a better squad like diso/thunder/dice and your capping will be fine...heres another hint, bad captainship is nothing new its been going on since day 1


so basically, join a squad with players you know are good leaders and stay away from squads that have bad ones... its a pretty simple philosophy

Yeah uh if they're gonna bitch, don't play them. Get off the league. I'm just saying that if everyone started actually being serious about making this a competitive game again, they need to just deal with it. Does anyone not know what team pride or loyalty is? If you have beef with someone let it go, you're teammates now, that's all that matters. And exalt idk if you even understood the whole basis of the argument. I can dislike a captain but it isn't going to change whether or not he'll do his job the right way. The way most ppl view bad caps is based on how good their squad is not how they control it. Anyone can pick up a bunch of great players and call it a an amazing developed squad, look at dice haha. The only reason most squads are terrible is because they lack teamwork and that's the one thing the captain needs to develop. That's why talking during the game is retarded and I keep saying it over and over again. The only one who should speak is the cap when he's directing the team. Other than that he should be making ship changes or substitutes when needed. That's why erias is the man, he's the only person who knows how to cap a go base game the right way, sit out and actually cap the team. But instead we have ppl pointing figures at each other instead of just continuuing to play the game and talking it over afterwards. This is why professional teams are great, they fine players for getting out of line and pointing fingers. It's just logic people.

a captain doesn't make a team, the players do... a captain can be a leader and tell people to team or be axed or something, or try to teach the players if they are newbies, but besides that its the player that makes up his own mind

and umm.. i speak all the time when i play... i tell people what to do, where to go, coords, deaths, how to attack the players, everything while I play the game... im not a captain though, id rather not do that bullshit, let the recruiting and axing go to someone else

and teaming can't be taught, either players do it and know how or they don't, either you have chemistry with others on your team or you don't, simple as that... you can build the biggest powerhouse squad and if they don't team they won win shit

dont know why people so angry with Pandora being such a powerhouse and how we should "share our good players" STfu with bullshit. We built our squad from ground up with new talent that we together became good. Squads should start trying to do that instead of whining. Penetrate is doing that right now as we speak, and the Plade members now that they gotten some experience might turn out to be good next season.
