"Don't kill sharks in midbase." This seems to be the battle cry of every fucking rookie to basing. Now look it's a good strategy, but you have to be a good team to use it. And I mean YOU ACTUALLY NEED TO BE GOOD TO USE IT. Continuing to yell this over and over again while letting the enemy shark mine and bomb around you and kill your team only makes you look like an idiot. But in my opinion even if you are good enough to implement this strategy, you really shouldn't. My whole goal in a base game is to kill anything that gets in my way. Unless there's 30 seconds left for the other team to beat you, I'm going to go after anyone i see; in the tunnel, midbase, or the fr. It's astonishing to me though that most people view me as a camper. Say what they want, I really don't care but I guess if I'm smart enough to stay back when my team isn't around me and not push at the other team without sharks to protect me just to die, I guess than that makes me a camper. I don't really know, lets just get back to what's important here. A good shark is always going to be a threat especially when he's an inch away from the terr, it's only a means for disaster. Not killing the shark is only asking for them to try and kill you. And if your team isn't good enough to take the fr in the little time that they let the enemy shark in mid base live, than they shouldn't be doing it. But now I've noticed that even if you kill the shark while he's putting pressure on your own terr, rookies will say you're just negging for rec. It's sadly now just another excuse for bad spiders to say that you're not a team player or a camper just because they know they suck.
