Hot or Not Discussion

Since the rules are still being transcribed, let's cover a more lighthearted issue.

It used to be popular, but last season PH had a lot of trouble finding consistent writers. Jeenyuss and Galleleo helped out, but he needs more help.

What should be done about it? Keep it, trash it, change it? Give me your thoughts.

Another idea: Incorporating Heavensent's TWL videos with commentary from players as another form of Hot or Not. (Of course if HS is willing to do this).

dude, i gave you my e-mail to send your articles to. how much more serious do you need me to be? do i have to hold your hand and guide you through the writing process?

seriously, i'm not a babysitter. if anyone is going to volunteer for this, all i ask is that you be a self-starter and make some kind of effort each week. i don't care if it's two sentences, i just don't want to be stuck writing six articles on a weekly basis like i was multiple times last season. i understand that other commitments come up, but god damn people, at least give me some kind of warning when you're not going to be able to write for a particular week.

oh, and be ready for a very thankless job, because that's what this is. some people assume that these articles can just be materialized out of thin air, and others can and definitely will get butthurt over having their online alias bashed in an article that about 0.0000001% of the internet will see. i love this game.

anyway, if you're up for it leave me a ?message in-game or a PM here with the league(s) that you're willing to write about. i'll throw up an announcement when i have a full team put together.

if u can find some people who are going to take it seriously and write it every week then i think you should go for it, cos it's definitely a decent read

Hot or not is fine, it's just dumb when people react to it so fiercely how they weren't the worst etc... Hate when that happens, it's just an subjective article that's supposed to entertain, do not take it so seriously for crying out loud

And thats the problem. Some writers of the NOT section misuse it to make fun of people and or squads, while thats not its purpose. Since we have a lot of little kiddies in this game, I suggest to skip the NOT section, but keep the HOT one.
