      People put FAR FAR FAR too much importance on ping times and not nearly enough on ping constancy

      Continuum has algorithms that compensate for ping times pretty well AS LONG AS THEY REMAIN CONSTANT

      The lag that give a massive unfair advantage IS SPIKING AND VARYING PINGS NOT HIGH PING. Someone who lags at 250ms (low advatage gained) is going to be easy to kill compared to someone who is lagging 30-130ms (high advantage gained).

        as long as the new rule gets stuck to, i really dont care anymore.

        if somone is visually lagging enough to give them an advantage and disrupt what otherwise would be a good game, they will be asked to reconnect

        its an excellent rule
