Some of you know and some might not that I have been working on the new TWLM. I have programmed it from scratch and it will be ready for this upcoming TWL season.
First of all, the bad news. When TWL begins, TWLM will only cover the leagues TWLD and TWLJ. This is because Ive not had enough time to complete the TWLB section as it works on a different system. However I will be constantly working on TWLM and the TWLB section is the first addition I will be working on. So it still might be a feature later on in this season but no promises.
Player Values
I have implemented a system that calculates players values based upon their TWD statistics. The system had a flaw of being to heavily influenced on ratio. Alot like the old Elim system used to have. It was easy to get a high value after playing 1 or 2 games but its alot harder keeping that ratio high after playing many games and it didnt take this into account. For this reason the values are being tweaked thanks to 2 volunteers who shall remain anonymous.
Thanks to Anzu, he gave me the algorithm that the previous TWLM used to update player values, so value changing will work in exactly the same way.
Signing up
It will work exactly like last TWLM did. All you will need to login will be your username and password that you use for TWD. You can set this by going ?go twd and pming TWDBot with !signup <password>. It is strictly a 1 account per person. Aliasing is not allowed.
