TWLB Match Of The Week

Penetrate (1-2) vs Disoblige (3-0)

Under normal circumstances, I would pick the Thunder/Dice match for this spot, but dicE has failed to impress so far this season, more on that later. I picked this match because Penetrate has arguably the best terr this season in Dead_Rain, and Disoblige has arguably the best specials lineup in TWLB history. When the dust settles, I am giving the edge to Da1andonly and his homoerotic squadmates. I'm am predicting Da1 with 4 teks, and one of those Cloud guys to MVP with 150+ kills. Personally I'd like to see Dead_Rain and pene prove me wrong here, this will be a fantastic match. Final score 15:00 - 13:35.

BasingCrew (1-2) vs Mainliner (1-2)

Alphabetically speaking, Basingcrew is ranked higher than Maindora this week, but that will not last, as I doubt ML will need more than 18 minutes to slam the door on this match. I could go into detail on lineups and such, but I see no need to. If I were the owner of BC, I would seek a lawyer and file rape charges in advance. I'm not sure what MLs line will be, but whoever the MVP is will walk away with some ridiculously stupid score like 95-22. This may be just what ML needs to get back on track and finish the season strong. Final Score 15:00 - 1:15.

Spastic (2-1) vs Pirates (1-2)

Though I am giving Spastic the game, I definitely would not count out Pirates completely, for they have plenty of duelers and javelins more than capable of holding their own in FR battles, such as Turban, Weaver and Poxy. Zizu will have an impressive game based on stats, and almost definitely die less than half as much as Pure_Luck, but will have an extremely hard time breaking the Spastic cram, led by Domi, JAMAL, and ph's lag. Watch out for Anidalife as well, for he is having a breakout season, and may be the leagues best at covering the under. Oh, and humid will never leave the left ear. Final Score 15:00 - 12:25

dicE (0-3) vs Thunder (3-0)

Wtf are you talking about Lizard?!? You're dumb ffs, dice sucks now and Thunder is a 3 league champion you homo. Yeah, not entirely true. DicE has blown some serious testicles so far (lol you lost to basingcrew) and Thunder is undefeated, but I really feel like dice is due for a win. If they don't clutch this week, their playoffs hopes will be reduced to "Slim to None". Do or Die dicE. Replace Grandmastahs with FieryFire, and Downfall with pretty much anybody, and you greatly improve your chances against Ease, Maisoul, Kian, and whatever random nobodys they have left to make a line. (Hi ceyve) I know I'm really pushing the limits with this prediction, and I hope mega can get his shit together and make me look good. Necro will only be a factor in jav if Downfall sharks, and Dreamwin's suicide burst will fail harder than winning $1 on NBCs Deal Or No Deal. MVP will be Cripple, and I predict the outcome to be the likes of 15:00 - 9:40

dicE (0-3) vs Thunder (3-0)

Holy shit guys. What the fuck has happened to dice? The powerhouse of the last 3 (4?) seasons has gone to shit. I see dicers talking smack, although as not as much as previous seasons - and I've yet to see any results to back it up. Considering the roster they have, they should at least have been able to perform a lot better than they have been so far. As someone said, they better win this match or say goodbye to "el playoffs" (even though I have no clue about the playoffs, wouldn't surprise me if everyone got in it and it would be a 1v4 2v3 etc). Thunder on the other hand has performed nicely so far, maybe quite a surprise? Personally I look forward to this match to see if dice can finally step up to their level or get raped by thunder. If dice is able to show their top line for once they shouldn't have a problem defeating thunder.

Key players to look: megahaircut89, blasphemy (plz play jav, and don't suck big black cock like last game vs penetrazns)



Spastic (2-1) vs Pirates (1-2)

Ahhh...A quite interesting game indeed. Spastic started TWL with sucking three games in a row (preseasons included). Lately they have however found at least some players of their enormous roster (only 9 short of ours) to log on to play TWLB games. Pirates, as were predicted as one of the favorites to win TWLB hasn't been performing as good as expected with their 1-2 record. This match should be quite a good indicator of how good these squads actually are. Should spastic win, they will be a serious contender for this years title, as long as their starters would show and they wouldn't have to field useless campers as jatt (?????). If p_l would stay out of suicide mode after dying one time this would be a seriously close match - on the other hand, if he becomes emo and wants to suicide several times over pirates should have no problem winning this one. Pirates will want to show the crowd they are force to reckon with despite their current record.

Key players to look for: phs lagbombs, jamal if he would step up to his level, p_l if he stays out of emo mode - scoops enormous luck when coming to both portals and bursts - not to mention his ability to tank 10 spider bullets while only having "30 ms", m_m god if he plays a jav and lags enough like lately



BasingCrew (1-2) vs Mainliner (1-2)

^_^ Mainliner aka Panliner or Maindora. Was predicted to be one of the absolute favorites to win TWLB this year, whereas basingcrew were predicted quite near the bottom. Three weeks has gone so far and both of the squads have a 1-2 record. Mainliner in my eyes have a really nice core of everything except terrs. Mikkiz is just not good enough to carry your camping asses, and with tim being really inactive I don't really see anyone else stepping up - basingcrew on the other hand has started their season quite as expected. Their line is capable of a surprise when they have a great day, but most of the time they simply aren't good enough - in my opinion mostly because of their terr situation, but quite closely because of not having a set shark pair, or at least having one that works. Their spiders are somewhat decent, but will be definitely be the underdogs when facing mainliners spiders. Mainliner will want to prove that they aren't as sucky as they seem to be with a 1-2 record and should pull off quite an easy victory.

Key players to look for: trouper, since he won't be facing a jav, shayde if he plays.



Penetrate (1-2) vs Disoblige (3-0)

Well, I don't really know what to say about this match. Disoblige will be fielding a jav as they have done every game so far and will continue doing so for the remainder of the season(s?). So far they've won every match and are thus 3-0. Penetrate have always shown quite a weakness when having to play against "specials", especially if more than one. On the other hand they put up quite a good fight last week against Thunder, losing only by a few seconds, even though they had the victory within their grasp. I love the penetrazns so I am hoping for them to being able to field their top line and give Disoblige their best shot.

Key players to look for: royst in spider, jeenyusses lagbombs, d_r...there's not anyone in the whole of subspace who gets more portals than him - nimbostratus in spider, kawrae as terrier.

You really shouldn't let me in your head, big mistake if you do, cuz I'm a clever little bugger and can ruin your days. I actually like most of your squad. Hell, I don't even have a problem with you. I honestly think you and your squad are way overrated as basers. Fantastic javelins, probably will defend your crown. Decent warbirds, but nothing special. You have some great players, some of them basers, but curb the ego. I asked to join once because I thought I could help. Didn't work out, and I dropped it.
