Pirates appealed their TWLD game against Thunder for an "illegal sub" that changed the game.

2 TWL Ops witnessed Ease get subbed out before he died. Pirate's appeal is denied.

He died 10 times. Ardour used an 11th life. Ardour then aided Vitja to teamrush and kill out chuckle, and then was essential in boxing in vys. Oh yeah, and he killed him. It's good to know we can have people on the ready to make these sorts of subs though. Adds a whole new element to the game. I wonder if anyone can get two extra lives!

Subbing someone who's +3 definitely makes a lot of sense in a close game. Having 51 deaths instead of 50 (a 6th player with 1 death), with a game ending in 50-47 definitely isn't considered an advantage. Especially not when the 6th guy ends up 1:0 taking out the last guy of the other team!

I told everyone on my squad NOT to post about this on the forums because it would be a waste of time since the general public is always out to get anyone who whines.

BUT I'm going to be a total hypocrit and tell the world of story of the little warbird that could...

Ease is on 9 and I am on 8. Being the smart Asian player that I am, I calculated our chances to be a lot better in a 2v3 than a 2v4 so I decide to suicide him. I die, he dies out. Ease is out 12 wins 10 loses. I'm happy. I think we have a shot now. Everyone in the game is on 9. But wait i see Ease is substited by Ardour right after. I am sad and I take a suicide trade with creature but we both miss. I try to run but vitja and ardour chase me down and I die. Vys played 1v4 and took it down to 1v3 and died out. Now he still sucked balls and went 6-10, but you can't deny the fact that we would have had a better chance if ardour wasnt in and it was a 2v3.

I don't really care that this wont be overruled. In a bd right after this game, most of thunder was even was a good sport and admitted that what happened was planned but it isnt really against the rules. Both squads will make playoffs easily. I am just gonna say if we got this game this close without plob#f, our best wb (both of our loses this season are without him), DAYUM how good is our squad...?!?!?!?!?!

just hate that assist for making a great sub call. Lag is what got you guys on the sub, not an illegal sub. (before ease saw on his screen that he was specced the bullet hit him and he took an extra death that shouldnt have happened)
