TWL and All Stars?

We have a week open for TWLJ and TWLB while we wait for all divisions' schedules to line up for the finals. Since the TWL playoff squads are getting antsy and want something to do, this is the time for them. The week was open for All-Star games, but that may be pointless since they havent exactly been successful in the past. So here are a few options:

1. Hold All Star games anyway. It's tradition!
2. Hold a javelim event for the TWLJ squads who have secured their place in the playoffs against everyone else; hold a ?go 4team event or a different basing event for the TWLB squads who secured their spots in playoffs.
3. Bring back the past winners of TWL and have them play the current TWL leaders (this could be iffy based on past winners' activity nowadays).
4. Make it an open week for TWL squads to challenge other TWL squads to a match (to regain their pride, practice, etc) that would be hosted for all to see.

Now the point of this week was to allow for All Stars and also to make the LJ/LB schedule line up with LD. It's not going to change, so please try to focus on what you would like instead of what you cant have

Its basically a down week for TWLD also. There arent any good games going on and the seeds are essentially locked in place unless thunder loses to sweet.

All Star games have been pointless forever because there has never been any incentive to win them. If we were back into conferences and we picked our all-stars based on East and West LD (top 7 or so on each side) then the winning conference could get to play the TWLD finals in their home arena, or get to choose which side they wanted to spawn at before the game (bottom right being better for LD because you can see up-left better without the radar) Unfortunately with this kind of league structure there aren't really any incentives we can give players to show up or even give a shit about the all star games.

However if you really wanted to do something to make this cared about at all, I suppose you could look at the by-week squads which bar something stupid happens next week would be Thunder and Quake and and let their captains be the honorary captains of the All-Star games two frequencies, with the winner of that getting what I said above should they both make it to the finals.

Well if there are no replays in TWLD, then eliminate the replay week...Then everything would line up perfectly and not have an open week...

5) Scoop and Hercules banduel Izor and RaCka 2v2 in ?go twld for 6 days so that they can finally get shut down instead of us having to hear about 'bread n butter' being the best 2v2 and them quitting games when they're down 0-3

Seriously though, since there are no replays in TWLD can you please consider the option of cutting out that week and then just cut out the open week after the minitournies in LJ/LB and the season will be over a week sooner while still having the finals for all leagues occur in the same week.

Obviously we should hold #1. Every season needs to have an all-star game and getting people that retired from this game to show up, won't work.

Concering #2: We already hold those every week, Kim does it. And that doesn't satisfy all star basers or warbirds. Only deals with one division. Automatic no.
