this is retarded.

i spammed izor while he had already died out and was in spec for like 1-2 min. I did not change the outcome of the game. ppl sayin izor going around i changed the outcome of the game by spamming him, and that he was still in the game when this occured. both are 110% untrue, check the user login logs (or w/e if there are any) i entered arena at like 3:15 est, izor was already out of the match, sitting in spec.

Izor could care less about being spammed, hes just making a mockery of tw staff and the TWL rules.


If i would have changed the outcome of the LD match then yeah i deserve a ban, but the 100% fact is that i didnt, not even close.

My spam did not affect izor in anyway, shape, or form. Yet, this unjustified ban could change the out come of this weekend's LB mini tourny. How is this fair?

This is a bit ridiculous, Izor, wasn't even involved in the game when he spammed him. It had no outcome on the game whatsoever... which was a blowout.

Let me quote the rules:

1.05 Harassment & Private Message Spamming
If the attending game Referee feels abuse or harassment is being given to anyone involved in the game by a player who is not playing in the game, that player will be silenced. Proof of the harassment must be provided to the Referee or League Operators within 5 minutes of the completion of the match, by method of a screenshot. For further validity, the spammer must be reported to staff via ?cheater.

SUMMARY: He should have been first reported to ?cheater, then the ref should have either silenced or kicked Dwopple from the arena. That is standard operating procedure according to the rules. Dwopple was never given a warning. Given these circumstances I feel that Dwopple's ban should be lifted and simply give him a warning and perhaps silence him for the continuity of TWL.

On to the ban - dont spam people during their TWL games. It's obvious that had I not been spammed the whole game I would have done better than 5-10, because im pretty much the best wb in the zone. This happens every couple weeks to me and I'm sure that the ops are just as fed up with having to deal with it as me. In fact, when i was 2-3 or something else I stopped caring cause i was just taking screenshots at that point.

Main point to be taken into consideration: even though I was getting spammed all game I didnt have people on my chat that dont play or really care about TWL spam Quake's players. It's only fair that I would do this, since I'm already not able to see coords. I also dont come to peoples games to disrupt them. at most I'll send a "gg newbie or one pm after someone dies, but that isnt interrupting anything. I guess never being important enough to have this happen to you, you dont know that it can get annoying. Perhaps if your squad manages to win this week without you Dwopple I'll let you know. I doubt it, because I'm much more mature than you, as evidenced by me not having any retalliation all season long. For staff not to do anything about this would just be welcoming spamming to players and would really degrade the quality of the league

Also, the rule states a silence for the short term, and after further investigation if the player is found to be on a TWL squad, actions will be taken above and beyond the silence. Thank you for your understanding of this, ignite.

Please use the appropriate channels. Posting in the TWL forums and having your own squad rally behind your lost cause is not going to change the fact that you've been a bad boy and you're being put in timeout.
