Penetrate vs Spastic - Battle of 2nd place, both these teams are mediocre at best and will get stomped in finals so it does not matter who wins. I predict Penetrate to win, because PL is shit and will die to stupid shit, while D_R is a smarter terr. Otherwise, both spastic/penetrate match up evenly on the newbie scale. Penetrate defeats Spastic - 20:00 - 10:52

thunder vs pirates

when these two squads squared up in the first round it proved to be one of the closest games thunder would have. in that game, thunder showed something very close to their top line with menel and paul in shark, dw in terr, and kian, ease, eelam, and necro in. pirates on the other hand had zizu in spider, scoop in terr, herc in shark for a portion of the game, as well as vys in spider. if they managed to keep it that close with lineup hiccups like that, i'm sure they'll be able to fair just as well tossing havu in there. throughout the season i think pirates' lineup has definitely come together, and a pretty solid group of players have emerged. pirates have two of the biggest rookies this season in poxy and turban. not to mention they're just coming off two big wins from the brainwave classic and thunder's been sitting around for the past couple weeks. how can you bet against thunder though? they went undefeated in the regular season, rarely showing weakness. they've got more depth than anyone else this season and they're not afraid to remind everyone of that fact. however, sans paulo and a couple others they're all classless morons, so maybe justice will be served. who knows.

matchups:
terrier-i think i've gotta give the advantage here to pirates with zizu at the helm of the red ship. even though thunder's got the tandem of dreamwin and draft, i don't think either of them can go toe to toe with zizu. zizu's been pretty on fire this season without too many hiccups. dreamwin's been putting a lot of ports on a lot of flags, and draft's always been just better than alright. phizey you can respond with whatever incomplete sentence you so choose to but you're not the type of terr to make big plays. i guess with the consistency of your spiders and sharks you haven't had to yet, but even then, zizu's got more experience than the both of you.

sharks-i will also give this to pirates. pauloakenfold's been a pretty damn good lead shark as far as i can tell. i could go on and give paul some more j/o material but i'll stop there. it's the second shark that i'm not sure about. you guys have a pretty wide selection with menelvagor, regency, fizzy, and b4ser, but i don't think any of those guys are clutch enough and/or haven't played enough with paul to develop some real chemistry. plus you're playing against dwopple and mattey. don't get me wrong, mattey's the worst fucking piece of shit player i've ever seen but the two of them have developed some chemistry being the 1 and 2 sharks for pirates for quite a while. they know how to lob some bombs and eat some curry.

spiders-thunder. probably one of the most dominant lineups this season. i mean, with eelam how could they lose? kian'll camp and ease will probably be writing an appeal (is this joke still funny?). the spider match-up could be close. i think both of these guys play a fairly similar style on the whole with thunder exhibiting a little more finesse and aggression. lio and havu could cause some ruckus though.

javs-i don't think necro and m_m will stay in jav the entire game, but at the beginning i can see both of these guys making some big shots. i'll give necro the edge, he's got the better lag for it.

spastic vs penetrate:

we'll lose. i've never beaten spastic in twl. pl is a better terrier. jamal's got a twelve inch dick. zeebu's a pansy ass BITCH. veloce is lithuanian.
