I agree with everything Jeenyuss posted. Thunder beat Pirates when we were still getting our line-up sorted out. When our top line shows, Thunder won't have much of a chance. Eelam is second most overrated spider, right behind cripple.

EDIT: Another reason he could have more kills per game is because their games have lasted longer, I haven't checked this, but it's just more proof that stats don't matter at all in LB.

Spastic Vs Penetrate

Spastic have alot of veteran players, they stomped plade in the first round of the playoffs last season. Although they won't find penetrate lacking in the same ways plade did. Spastics experience is their best asset, although their activity is their very worst. Penetrates players are playing and honing their skills every day. I'll have to disagree with jeen here, since Dead_Rain is a much better terr then PL. Veloce and Jeen are as good as PH and stabwound, and in some ways their timing is a lot more tight, ph tries too hard to setup big plays which sometimes work out like magic, and other times not so well. For the spiders It really comes down to what spastic will show, penetrate will show a great spider line, with all spiders being on the same level tactic-wise. if royst and lunch3 are there and their bullets are on, I think I'll have to give this one to penetrate. maybe domi will show and do the uber camp or javbomb them but i doubt it. Jamal will have to be the gamechanging spider for spastic, or else they are done.

Thunder Vs Pirates

This match probably shouldve been the finals match as these teams have displayed their depth and aptitude for ownage. As previously stated in this thread thunder won the regular season match, but not by much. As for terriers Zizu and Dreamwin are both excellent, they can survive situations that most other terrs wouldve got rocked by in the first few bullets spit at them. I'd jus like to add that everyone knows dw loves the flag port, but he baffles kids with it every time. for the spider matchup I think thunder will have to take the cake, specifically eelam and hellkite. there isn't a spider on pirates who can handle either of those spiders, although pirates also have some great spiders a few euro laggots in the right place will go a long way. but as diso found out it aint no thang for me and paulO. overall a slight edge in thunders favour on the spider side.

What this game will really come down to is how 6 players perform, the two shark pairs, M_M God and Blasphemy. You can't really say enough about the performance of both these javs, they are uber leetz0rs and have been rockin the house in almost every game they play. So in this area i can't give an edge to either team, it will depend on which jav has got the magic bomb on that particular sunday. Which leaves us with the sharks. Pauloakenfold is a savage, rarely missing a rep, or making a useless rep. great timing, great spid saving skills. From my time on mainliner with mattey, I got to know how he plays, and he is a very good shark, if im not mistaken we were undefeated as a shark pair, I'm sure he will be excellent in shark for pirates. Leaving us with myself and Dwopple. Dwopple is straight newbish, he can gobble bullets like jeenyuss but with half the sense of whats going on and why hes doing whatever it is hes doing. try harder to get 3 reps off you redfaced sweatypalmed lil snitchlips. And myself, well to sum it up, the reason we won the thunder v pirates was my teamfer cram breaking bomb in the 27th minute, that I slipped past a dumbfounded dwopple. pie'd

Overall it's looking like a penetrate Vs thunder final.

ur spider line will always be dice or pandora 3rd string benchers, and would even bench of spastic/thunder and EVEN PENETRATE. I will roflstomp the shit outta u guys, and this game we wont be playing 7v8 through the whole game with necro lagging out. I remember we were up 5-0 to start game until necro had lag issues cause of his ISP which is now controlled / fixed. Be prepared to be STOMPED and mad shit talk to follow.

Well chuckle, since you have to be a smartass about this. Never, did i say in my post to get a life. I posted irrelevant material to counter Eelam's irrelevant material. Whether or not it really pertained to the game matters? If you're going to read between the lines in posts, go all the way, instead of thinking of only the "cliche" comebacks that people normally post.

ANYWAYS on topic, I wonder if thunder will actually live up to their own hype. To me, their spider line is not scary, unless Ease plays; that dude always scares the shit out of me. I managed to do decently the first game playing maybe once a week, so i might get on more for the epic battles to come, and actually do good (maybe)?

Spastic vs Penetrate will be a fun match. I think it will really come down to how the spider matchup goes, and how much PL fucks up. If his game is on, it will be a close game.

I will have a good laugh if Pirates beats Thunder. It will really be funny to see thunder and some of their players' sudden new egos lose. Except eelam, he's always been like this and i love reading his bullshit, especially how much response he gets. But yea, Thunder basically has a ship advantage everywhere, except sharks might be even. Pirates terrier might be stronger though.
