what goes on with scheduling the matches? a lot of people have not gotten home from school or work by then and eastern time makes up a very large part of the rosters. i know this may make things late for finland and such but really i think having a late game is better than one impossible to attend. dont yell at me im just wondering.

The games for TWL are only held on Saturday and Sunday. So I think any concerns for school are right out the door. These times look like bullshit to me, sure they are great when you are from Europe aka the minority. Euros get to play at 7-10pm which is the prime playingtime. Would I want to play at 1-4pm? haha no way and what if you are from the westcoast? Thats like 10am for the first matches...either on saturday or sunday I would be doing other stuff
Point is no match should be played before 4pm est unless both squads ask for it.

lol ... the match time would be 6am-7am on Sunday morning and Monday morning for me.
I am going camping on the weekend, so I will definitely not be able to turn up for the Sunday morning one. Most prolly wont be able to get up in time for the 6am one.
I intend to turn up for the 7 o'clock one on Monday morning ... but the idea of warm bed and soft blankets in a early winter morning might seem to be more appealing at times ...Wont die, no surrender 2Comment

Yeah the games will be early for me, other NZLers and Australians, and Saturday games will be on Sunday, and Sunday games will be on Monday for us, but I suppose not everyone can have a match when they want. I'll wake up early as usual.

The times are like that because that's how it's always been. If there is a large demand I can considering allowing scheduling to go as late at 6-7pm EST.

I never said that matches should be played at 10pm est, I said its ridiculous to start playing at 1pm est.
In my opinion all matches should be played at 4-5pm est and thats certainly doable with the amount of staff we have in TW.
If both squads agree to another time they get to play at their prefered time. Simple isnt it?
I dont post here to piss off the finnish playerbase, if you continue starting matches at 1pm est I dont think squads will be able to field their prefered line-up or may not even have enough. Anyway we will see when the season starts and I hope you prove me wrong.Comment
