uh, there isn't a single squad that has a full solid and capable 5 man lineup, in my opinion. it's an opinionated prediction. tell me one squad that DOES have all around depth and give specific reasons/details.

illusions of grandeur? okay, throw out a sentence you read in a book in psych 101 with no relevance, considering I said every squad is lacking depth and even downplayed MYSELF.

There's a difference between a capable 5 man lineup and a squad of "all around depth" (whatever the hell that means)

I feel there are 3-5 squads with a capable 5 man lineup that could make things somewhat interesting

hell stray won with like a 6 man roster, so I dunno what depth is either...

heavy got to semis last season with static 5 starters... I think they switched it up one time when racka didn't show... other then that was always same 5 people

5 main starters are all that it takes ever... whats the point of depth? so if you win anything the 50 benchers who never play can say they won too?

Exalt, you can't have a 6 man roster, 10 is minimum allowed; and I'm glad people are finally starting to grow brains and realize their 50 man squad winning TWLD doesn't entitle everyone on that squad to badass or bragging rights about being any better than whatever they were with their 'title under the belt' unless you were some kind of super clutch every TWL game including the playoffs, and honestly TWL titles really don't speak for anything other than team achievements since nobody is pulling 50-10's; people give them way too much credit. Guess that's the mentality when people can't put out on their own.

Well it was an exaggeration that I did on purpose sirius. It used to be 8 minimum members actually... but 10 is fine too, whatever.

The point is that the 5 main starters are usually always going to be the 5 main starters. A couple players might get switched up due to no shows or a few people might sub a lot, but the same holds true. You only need a 10 man roster as long as everyone is active, with 15 on the high side if you NEED to be safe.

And while I agree a TWL title doesn't show a player's true individual skill rather then his team's, it is still something to brag about either way. Being a great 5v5 team player is just as difficult as being a great 1v1 dueler, as they take different skill sets, and sometimes require both. You can be the best player in the game, but without a competent team you are 1v4 or 1v5 at the end of every match, and you will still lose at least a large percentage of the games.

15 isn't very many if you're going for all three leagues. Not many players transfer from ship to ship with ease, and then are also twl quality in each.

unless your basing you don't need more then 15 on a squad... even combined jav/wb squads don't need more then 15-20 at most

only basing requires more, and few squads are triple league
