The proof is in the pudding, regardless of why I believe that basing has died it has, and twd.org pretty much shows the difference in the amount of games played per league, and the amount of active squads in each. Winning one bd puts me in 5th or 6th place.

vat, I was responding to Eelam implying that basing is nothing without a dice/pandora feud, which is complete horseshit. sure, the dice/pandora feud was cool for a while and probably the last real rivalry in basing, but that was definitely not the glory days of basing. it's just an inconvenient truth that as the zone population decreases, the competitiveness of a league that requires 7/8 players per game to be fun will decrease as well. it really wasn't a low blow at either pandora or dice. i was just saying to eelam (not you) that basing was better when there were more than 2 squads capable of winning the league. surprisingly enough, last season was a lot better than most in terms of talent distribution. i could of seen a bunch of squads walk away with the title last season, so i hope that trend continues, because last season was a lot more exciting than just watching dice and pandora fight each other while everyone else fought for 3rd place.

Warbirds always have the dropout squads in TWL.
TWLD is so boring to watch, its a fucking box with straight, no bounce 1 shot deaths.

The only thing keeping TWDD alive is the few players that know how to trash talk.

Wb might last longer than basing because basing is harder to learn and requires 8. Any pubber fuck can learn to direct his ship and press ctrl once. Notice, how many newb squads there are for wbs, but not for basing.

it's dying in the same way that twjd and twdd are dying...slowly. it'll affect base earlier both because it requires more players to function and because it's easier to approach twjd and twdd as a beginner. however what baffles me is that you're dumb enough to gloat over this. base dying will affect all twd leagues directly since many basers also play twlj and twld on the side, so your league will suffer directly from this.

and why is it that one league dders are always trying to start shit with other leagues? does twdd attract the mentally challenged? i enjoy dding in moderation but it's a little bit empty just to be playing that solely. like eating a hamburger with no vegetables/sauce or anything.

well right now #16 is respect, with 1009 points. Yea the decay isn't as bad as TWLB, but hey, what happened to all the pubbers kthx spoke of? Weren't they supposed to be trying the other leagues, like DD and JD? So why aren't they there? Just like to point out that despite the 'death' of basing, to this point Brainwave has more bds played than any dd squad has dd's. I didn't check jd but I assume the same holds true there. All of these 70 something bds need opponents to be played, so basing can't be nearly as dead as you say.

You have to learn all of the basing ships instead of just one. Although I only play two, learning all of them is hard work so, I applaud those who have learned it. You have to be a good terr to manage a cram/fr fight, gotta time with your partner shark to be a good shark and keep the flag alive for your team, and gotta kill the other enemy to be a good spider. Basing is hard to learn, don't be ignorant. their is just more than shoting downwards in a cram. what has wb got to offer besides teaming, shooting, straying, aiming and dodging that applies to jav as well.

Have you ever played a base game? managing a cram is not easy if your playing a difficult or an even skilled squad, heck even winning a fr fight can get challenging at times. base can get rather frustrating, but its fun to play and its NOT BORING.
