Look, if you change key defs to where you don't have to let go of shift, yet you are still NOT thrusting when you shoot....

its not a thrust shot. That isn't some magical trick.


When they mentioned the thrust shot vys does, they meant him thrusting from one side of the map to the other, shooting while still thrusting, then thrusting from that side of the map to the other one... meaning he thrusted the entire map and shot and never ran out of energy

that would either be amazing luck in invisible FC greens... or he was cheating in those specific instances.

The only way to really know is to remove FCs from TWD in the first place. After that, no one can claim FCs as a reason for such impossible things. It is really simple here... and honestly I don't know why TWD has FCs when TWL does not.

Because 6 years ago I made dock change the settings for TWL to no full charges, no blueout (chat lock). The guy who was running TWD at the time liked these things and kept it in. It was all just down to a personal preference, and it's just stayed the same because, that's the way it is.

Well, I think both of us agree that things shouldn't always stay the same. I'm glad you got rid of FCs in TWL... it also helps reduce cheating (and catching cheaters), but it should be the same in TWD.

TWL is just an extension of what TWD brings to the table... just in a sort of best vs the best type thing. Make them the same. Both should be FC free.

With the key settings I said you don't have to let go of SHIFT, though your ship does slow down when you hit the bullet key (CTRL+SHIFT), but it will shoot the bullet with the full speed though, guaranteed. :fear:

Though as you stated, it's not the same as in UFC arena, but it's still a form of thrust shooting.

i'm not trying to sound like an arrogant douche here. the difference between the ufc arena and the thrustshots in this thread is because of this: when you thrust forward using shift in twd you can go as far as your energy tells you to go, then let go of shift, regardless of your key definitions and shoot. I can do these "thrustshots" when my repel key is something else. it allows your ship to be more efficient with how it deals with a rush and a shot really. some people like vys and apok specifically trains themselves to do a rush against a person and let go of shift and shoot before he has the time to counter even if he has full energy. it's an effective way that really has been used for years. one wb that comes into my would be Sika from season 7 and onwards. the thing however is that you have to let go of shift for a small amount of time. or rather the shot won't come out if not but the most important thing to note is that you have to slow down your ship for a fraction of a second.
In ufc however, where the real thrustshots are (which also were allowed in tw back then; i remember foreign telling me how banzi used to kill everyone with these), you thrust forward, until you reach 1350 energy and press ctrl, without letting go of shift. what happens is that the bullet accelerates from when you press shift and go forward thus making it faster, because you won't stop as earlier mentioned. the shot will accelerate from when you move forward with maximum speed until it's as fast as the maximum speed. again, this doesn't happen with what vys does because his ship will deaccelerate for 1/4 of a second before he is able to fire. this is because thrustshots aren't allowed in tw anymore. which was mentioned in Epi's history. when changing key def's, you will prolly get a different sort of rush, again, changing your repel key will allow this good enough.

i love it how you act as if you don't know. money was spamming Siege and Sweet in basically every game that was played. Everyone from those squads hate him, if they would remember him now. point is, he is terrible, uses shitty ways to deal with squads he can't compete against. and then he talks more than 'oops' and 'Deluge' combined. Now if I really would care about these players I would prolly never talk to them because I would think he is too stupid for me to engage him. but then again, i am here to talk and my reaction to his action is this.

Don't hate on quicksand or any other squads when your ENTIRE squad is made up of past cheaters. Matter of fact, Stray was made up of the biggest collection of ex cheaters ever assembled, and you just so happened to be the head of TWL.

As far as 99% of tw is concerned, you won nothing. You had a banned cheater play for you and win finals that you definitely would not be able to win without him. I wouldn't consider that winning pascone. Cheating doesn't make you a winner.

Also, what have you done since then? Nothing. What will you do? Nothing. You aren't even the 5th best squad in TWL, but I'm sure they will allow 6 into playoffs... so you might have a chance making it.

I like how you still claim that you won TWL even though nobody considers that a legitimate win, and the fact that after three years you are still so defensive about it pretty much proves you had a hand in it, just like you have a hand in unbanning every cheater, to recruit them to your squad. Everyone on staff knows you do it, everyone in the game knows you do it, everyone know your lineup is full of people who have cheated and chances are still do or will again.
