Note to all captains

Something got on my nerves during the two preseason weeks, so I'm going to address it here. A zoner will be sent later today linking to this thread, so you can't say you didn't see it.

A few captains - you know who you are - seem to be either too lazy or too uninformed to negotiate match times. I've never personally captained a TWL squad before so I am not entirely familiar with the negotiation process, but if you log into the TWL site the menus on the left should make it fairly self-explanatory.

Now, regardless of what the rules may say, proposing a 3:00 game and then not hearing back from the opposing captain will not automatically grant you that time slot. Games in which some sort of mutual negotiation has actually occurred will be handled first.

I realize scheduling can be a bit complex this season given all the multi-league squads, but if you don't make any sort of effort to communicate during the week then you have no right to bitch when I give you a time slot that you may not agree with. You have every chance to get a good time during the week, so take advantage of it.

Also, due to the increase in squads this season, I'm pushing the soft lock back to week 2 and the hard lock to week 4. The rules will be updated to reflect this as soon as possible.

i think its easier if people set their minds on a fixed schedule, instead of changing it for people who can only play at certain hours, this for 3 league squads. dice is doing lb 2 pm est, lj 3pm est, ld 4pm est hopefully until the league is done!

i used to do 12 pm sat... only jebu was on at that time

there was a slight problem with the schedule i had saved (and by slight i mean it had two separate incidents of two squads playing each other in all three leagues this week) so after i do a bit of shuffling around to eliminate that issue i'll post a full schedule, probably within an hour or so
