Remove blueout from TWL

So today I realize, that not even people who are part of the squads who are playing can talk in blue during TWL? Someone changed the rule?

Why?

What's the point of this? If people want to trashtalk, let them. Sure lock spec chat, but not the team freqs.

I'd rather have the current blueout than the participating squads talking. Just let people trash-talk before and after the game.

It's not technically possible to lock blue chat only for the players on the teams which are playing.

stabwound beat me to it, its currently not possible to be selective, you either have to have it all or none...

I'm not positive on this but I think. *lockpublic + *lockteam + *lockspec might actually leave it open for people in game. Might have to run tests on this to see, but even then it ultimately might be too late to implement it in TWL this season anyways.

If that works I'd be for it. But if not, leave blueout on. 200 spectators all talking in public chat at once can get annoying and distracting, not to mention screw up your coording horribly.

Yes it was, when I ran TWL Someone changed the rules.
