Alright, in all honesty, this is for my personal curiosity, but I'm breaking down the playoff possibilities. Thunder/Mad/Epidemic have basically qualified for TWL already. The fight for 4th, 5th and 6th, however, are still up for grabs, between 5 teams in Dice, Rapid, Fatal, Quicksand and Sage.
Dice is 4-5, with a win against Fatal, but a loss to Quicksand/Rapid. Their last two opponents are Wolf and Sage.
Rapid is 6-3 with a win against Dice and Sage, but a loss to Fatal. Their last two opponents are Quicksand and Mad.
Fatal is 4-5 with a win against Rapid and Sage, but a loss to Rapid/Quicksand. Their last two opponents are Warpath and Serenity.
Quicksand 5-4 with a win against Fatal and Dice, but a loss to Sage. Their last two opponents are Rapid and Warpath.
Sage is 5-4 with a win against Quicksand, but a loss to Fatal and Rapid. Their last two opponents are Mad and Dice.
Keep in mind: Fatal and Dice are out if they lose ONE of their games. If Rapid wins one of the two games, they are automatically in the playoffs.
There are a LOT of possibilities, and since I have the day off tomorrow, and am feeling, like, well, doing it, I will .
If Rapid doesn't win anything, they'll be 6-5 with a tie with Fatal, who had beat them (I honestly don't expect Fatal to lose against either of our opponents, call me a homer if you want). IF this happens, it means that Quicksand will probably finish their season 7-4 and ranked fourth, as I don't expect them to lose to Warpath (Wolf was a fluke).
If Dice wins their next 2 games (meaning a Sage loss) it would make them 6-5 with an advantage over Fatal. THIS means that Sage will probably finish off their Cinderella-like Season with 5-6, and essentially out of playoffs. Even if they beat Mad, they would probably be out, as they have lost to Rapid, Fatal and Dice (hypothetically). So the Sage/Dice game will be a crucial one for both squads.
So the fight for the last three spots would be:
Quicksand (7-4)
A 3 way tie between Fatal (6-5, who beat Rapid), Rapid (6-5, who beat Dice) and Dice (6-5, who beat Fatal).
Odd team out: Sage
Now you're thinking, damn, what the hell is going on, ya i have no idea myself. I'm not exactly sure how Ph is going to deal with this type of 3 way tie, and of course, I'm speaking hypothetically. If Sage were to go on and defeat Dice, Quicksand defeating Rapid, then it would be:
Quicksand (7-4)
Fatal (6-5)
Rapid (6-5)
Odd teams out: Dice, Sage. The reason Sage wouldn't be in is because they lost to both fatal AND rapid. Dice would be out because their rec would be (5-6 or 4-7), and both incapable of making playoffs.
Now, if Rapid beats QS, and Dice beats Sage then it's:
Rapid (7-4) or even (8-3) if they beat Mad, but it's irrelevant
Quicksand (6-5)
Dice (6-5)
Odd teams out: Fatal, Sage. Fatal is out despite the fact they're (6-5) because they lost to both QS and Dice. If Sage beats Mad, then it's a 3 way tie between QS, Dice and them, as they beat QS but lost to Dice.
If Rapid beats QS, and Sage beats Dice then it's:
Rapid (7-4)
A 3 way tie between Sage, Fatal and Quicksand. Fatal beat Sage, Sage beat QS, QS beat Fatal.
Odd team out: Dice for losing.
So that's basically it, I'm too lazy to do the games that are upsets (i.e. Warpath beating QS). My prediction of what's going to happen:
Quicksand defeats Rapid, and Rapid goes on to lose to Mad. Dice beats both Wolf and Sage, while Fatal wins both its games. Quicksand beats Rapid and Warpath, while Sage loses both its games. The result is:
Quicksand: (7-4)
A 3 way tie between Rapid, Fatal and Dice (6-5). I don't know what would happen here? K?
Odd team out: Sage and one of the squads mentioned above.
Well, that was a waste of time. Hope you gain something, because I kind of did.
