Match of the Week - Epidemic 50 - Thunder 47
I thought this week was the time for Epidemic to finally lose with as much as I've been seeing Thunder's top wbs on practicing lately. Thunder came in with a full head of steam, with Ease and Raspi having defeated RaCka and Izor in duels earlier in the week satisfying their ego somehow. Unfortunately their 1v1 performances dont mean they can team in a 5v5 TWL game any better, as Raspi's blatant hiding eventually led to Thunder's demise. Obi/Yakuza didnt help the cause any, combining for a 4-10 and dying out early. The game was close from start to finish, but with Epidemic's birds almost all getting 10 kills it felt like they were playing as a much more solid unit and had control the whole time. WAR's tendency to lag out after he killed someone before their bullet could kill him on his screen did play a part in that 'dominance' though. Just ask chokle. At the end of the day this game, while entertaining, did nothing to factor into the playoff seeding as Epidemic pretty much had locked up 1st seed and Thunder had pretty much locked up 3rd seed.
Sage 50 - Mad 32
Mad grossly misunderestimated Sage this week, adding bad/rusty players like Last Standing, Turban, and Unabled thinking they would get the job done, but Sage showed that they belong in the playoffs by outright dominating them. vys and scoop quickly subbed in to find out that they had no chance against another good effort by the whole Sage team. This win will take a little pressure off for Dice next week, but if Dice were to win it could possibly cause a 4 way tie for the 5th and 6th playoff spots in LD between Fatal, Sage, Rapid, and Dice. I'd hate to be a TWL op trying to sort that one out!
Quicksand 50 - Rapid 37
Ronald McDonald and his crew of ham burglars got rolled badly. Not much else to say except you guys might miss the playoffs depending on how things work out. Have fun against Mad next week.
Fatal 50 - Warpath 38
Jones should never have to put up 18 kills and basically beat Warpath by himself, but I guess when the line contains Epinephrine, Spaceship, Terian, and 'Kdakcialkdja' there arent too many other options assuming he wants to win. Wasnt here for this game and didnt miss much besides a dominating show by Jones.
Dice 50 - Savanger 31
For the amount of shit welfare talks I would expect that he wouldnt get immediately subbed in TWL. Or go 1-4 for that matter. Da BiH BoyZ need to practice some
On a side note, since when does da1andonly still play ss and when did he join Dice???
Shinobi 50 - Serenity 0
Disappointing...I wouldnt bother replacing these guys honestly at this point.
HOT player(s) of the week - Jones (18-7)
Cannot argue with the numbers here. Jones is having a dominant season so far and continued this week alongside a deplorable starting line for Fatal. If these guys have any chance of making it they're going to have to continue to rely on him carrying the load since no one else on their roster is capable of doing so. Fortunately for them, hes shown he is up to the task and honestly is having probably the second best season next to Ease.
Honorable mention: Ease (17-10) Clownboy56 (couldnt stop laughing with his radio host!)
NOT Player(s) of the week - Obi/Yakuza (4-6/0-4)
4-10 isnt how you beat an undefeated squad. In your defense Ease got 17 to make up for this sorry performance but had you gotten a respectably bad 7-10 you guys would have probably won.
Honorable mention: Welfare/Simple Mistake/Bamba (4-16 combined)
