TWLD Week 11 Projections
Finally the regular season is about to end, and there is one more week with this weeks games determining the playoff chances of many squads. Here's my projections of how things are going to play out.
Rapid (6-4) vs Mad (8-2)
On paper this should be a closer game than expected, with rapid desperately needing a win to help there playoff hopes. Mad coming off an embarrassment vs the surging and surprising sage squad, might actually play its starters just as a warmup for playoffs. Rapid will need a better showing from their starters or they will get demolished easy, early, and fast. Creature, sphinktor, and saetep must show up and play well, or this will be the end of rapid in ld.
Winner : Mad 50-44
Savanger (0-1) vs Thunder (7-3)
This game doesn't have much implications for thunder unless they lose and quicksand wins, which might change the way the playoffs look due to QS beating thunder earlier this season. Look for Ease, Raspi, and b4serman to have a strong showing after coming up a bit short last week. Savanger will look to sarrow +....? You can tell where im going with this one. Thunder will most likely lock up the 3rd seed.
Winner: Thunder 50-39
Epidemic (10-0) vs Shinobi (3-7)
The dreadful season for shinobi is about to come to a end, and maybe they can scrounge up a good round? probably not. Epidemic looks to continue to steamroll and falcon punch its opponents and finish the regular season undefeated.
Winner: Epidemic 50-36
QuickSand (6-4) vs Warpath (1-9)
After last weeks win over rapid, quicksand looks to finish its regular season strong vs a lackluster warpath squadron, whose had a dismal showing. The effort has been there, unfortunately, the results have not. Warpath will look to muster up a good round and show some effort while quicksand needs this game to lock up a playoff seed. Look for RaCka, Izor, kid kaos, and myself to set the tone and try to end this game before warpath can pull a upset.
Winner: QuickSand 50-32
Fatal (5-5) vs Dynasty (0-0)
Fatal needs alot of help to get into playoffs, but before getting that, they must beat dynasty, who replaces serenity. Fatal needs a dominating performance from jones, who has played strong all season. Dynasty looks to Keith, kentaro, and geio to have big games and end up having a undefeated season going 1-0.
Winner: Dynasty: 50-42
Game of the Week
Dice (5-5) vs Sage (5-5)
Dice looks to continue its resurgance vs sage , who has shocked a lot of people. The winner of this game will need help from dynasty, warpath, and mad to lock up a seed in twld playoffs. Look for caos and megaman to lead dice, while sage looks to spikey, zizu, and ground zero to have a good showing.
Winner: Dice: 50-46
