    It's definitely voted on before the playoffs start. It might depend on playoff seedings...but both teams are almost locked into the top seed.

        If Chris Johnson beats Eric Dicersons rushing record then he WILL be the Mvp. Thats a big if though. Anytime u break a hall of fame record it wont matter how good the team was.

        If not a medal, cant I get a Ribbon??

                  Losing to the worst team in the NFL auto disqualifies you from winning any mvp award in your entire career. Saints wont even make it to the superbowl now. No home field advantage and a 3 game losing streak (after next week against Carolina) not to mention we can't rest any starters because we need home field advantage = no super bowl.
