Dice has won a couple times and basically have nothing to lose and little pressure, whereas if I don't win I am going to put my head through my monitor and keep moving it forward through the wall and into my neighbors house.

As far as the Semi-finals go...

I thought dicE struggled somewhat (especially Tim with lag issues/porting into stuff) especially early on, but by the end their talent simply prevailed. They have a strong spider lineup and I think that gave them the edge where they might not have had it at Terr or Shark (which I think was pretty close). They got it together and took care of the end after they passed 10 minutes. Sage did the best they could with what they had, and truth be told they did better than I expected. Zizu had a terrific 3-league season.

In the other matchup, there was a flagroom battle in the beginning that lasted for nearly 10 minutes (with Respect holding the 6:00-4:00 advantage at the end) when Dead_Rain (who had a great start) finally died. For whatever reason, after that extended battle, Penetrate only managed 2 more minutes of flagtime. I'm still a novice to watching basing, but it seemed that Respect's spiders outplayed Penetrate's, especially in their cram. Leitz was a late addition to Penetrate's line and he was criticized by the peanut gallery at the time and his score reflects their concern. Respect's sharks menelvagor and vatican assassin played outstanding in the win also

So in the final we have a matchup of dicE and Respect. They both have shark/spider lines that are playing well, but oddly I thought that both opposing terriers were better last week (Zizu and Dead_Rain). Cripple, Zung, Megaman89, Jamal... THIS is the TWLB finals!
