what are you even talking about, my job was to run the league fairly and smoothly after season 11 ended on a controversial note and season 12's op abandoned the game in the middle of the season, and if you honestly believe i didn't accomplish that then you're either blind or just that biased against me for having an actual personality as opposed to the nethilas and pascones and mirrorrims of the world, either way your approval is no more valuable than anyone else's to me so i'm going to chalk last season up as a success regardless of what you think

Over here on the left coast, you get two (2) choices for high speed internet services, they are Comcast (fuk them) and qwest ( fuck them even more). That is in seattle, in san francisco where I played the last 6 years, it was comcast and cox. I don't know where you are from Brookus, but overe here, large corporations have cornered the market, and have allowed 2 companies to "compete" and I use this words loosely, because I think if this really was as free a market the states of California and Washington would not make it so these monopolies exist, but what are you going to do. Politicians and corporations go hand in hand. In seattle local politicians gave all internet rights to these 2 companies and shut any competitors out of the deal, its been documented, its bullshit, it leads to the following internet connection being the BEST YOU CAN BUY:

I'm serious, I really cannot get a better connection speed than this, but it's pretty good, i get 2mb/s dl speeds. I've always gotten the fastest internet connection I can buy (obv not to play tw). My ping levels have not changed in 7 years, I think I know where they have been better than Brookus, the guy who doesn't play and when he does he spends half the BD yelling at his team. Not a surprise, cuz he yells at everyone and hates everyone and suspects anyone who ever beat him must be a cheater. Truth behind it all, even after the complete lack of respect brookus shows others, is that he is a good player, knows a lot of strategy, and actually taught me a lot on A-S until I finally had to rage quit TW for 6 months after being yelled at every game without exception even though I was only learning shark. I actually learned to stay attached to terr longer from Brookus, one of the most important lessons I have gained as shark.

I learned a lot about the game, I learned a lot about how not to treat my players on Pandora, and if you really think lag helps sharks more than hinders them, then you are not as smart about this game as I originally thought. Being able to see bullets before they hit your teammates so you can rep them is better than eating bullets or whatever benefit you think I get from my huge induced lag that no one has ever done a cheater call on me before. Some people realize that with such large distances between players involving an older game that relies upon split second timing to sync, games may have some lag differentials, I mean, hello? One time Brookus pouted after a game saying "He wasn't this good on A-S, he must be cheating." Well, A-S was my first year of shark, this is my 5th, maybe I improved after playing 10,000 games?

I don't pm people in the game. I don't hurl cheating accusations after games. And I think that the only thing stupider than arguing over ‘who is the best’ in TW is adding a signature touting a player’s ‘championships’. Do people actually get laid or get a better job due to this?

But I will say that I have in the past said that Ops and other league decision makers should not belong to any squads. This is not to say that Ph, or others, have not done a good job. Nor is it to say that I don’t appreciate the time and effort these folks put into this all.

But then again, I also think that it would be interesting to see how it would be if league players would have to play under an anonymous numeric player name. Remove the fucking egos from a league for a season. Obviously this may be a huge failure. But if the egos are all that is keeping this crap together, then maybe the cyber-world would be better off without TW.

For every one person on forums with a huge ego who doesn't even play, there are 100 players in tw who don't pm people or call them a cheater without doing a cheater call. All ph does during off season is call for tw to die, now you are doing it too, and because of ph? This is not the logical line of thought I'm used to seeing from you ephy.

Bad logic VA, I played many more games than that and I still suck.

But I don’t think, and never have thought, that you induced or cheat. But I do think that others do. I know that I found away to induce using a VPN connection several years ago. When I played around with it (never in a league game) it made me a much ‘better’ shark. My kills went up by over 35%, my terrier kills went up over 40%. So the ‘burden’ of being good is that people will suspect that you are inducing.
And this goes to what Brookus is saying, once the door was open to inducing it can’t be closed again. I understand what you are saying about the Pros and Cons of latency, but I would add that a big factor is whether or not a player (and teammates) is ‘used’ to the lag. If they are, I think it can be a big advantage.

The days I do lag I will rep and my spids will still die, so I can see what you mean by being used to it. In this case, that would mean you have to rep before you see the bullets, meaning you have to rep before they spids shoot. We already have to do this with wb's who are semi close, and with rocketing javs, but doing it with 5 spiders is just a pain. It becomes all anticipation, and when you play against real good teams, they will wait a second for you to blow reps and then attack with full energy, meanwhile I already started using my reps cuz I thought they were all going to shoot, and I'm suddenly down to 1 rep with 5 guys with full energy rushing me. Bye cram.

Vatican, even if you had the best connection on EARTH you could not get 20ms from the west coast. 100ms seems pretty normal considering how far away you are from the server, which lies in the east coast (washington dc, not the state washington which would be close to seattle lol).

e.g. I get 125ms ping when I ping to washington, but i get 220ms ping when I ping to Seattle.

only reason i didn't try to come back to pandora now that my activity is back up is because i figured you were set for twl and wouldn't want/need me.
