Thoughts on Broadcasting TWL/TWD matches?

The quality is great but I still think its too small. Sure we can tell whats happening but it would be a lot harder for a newbie to appreciate what is happening when they are being spammed with so much information on the screen. If you could get the same quality with ships 2-3x bigger it would be awesome.

It's basically more for the current existing players than for new players. Most newbies would go to pub first before ever finding out what a dd/jd means. I agree with you. One way to get bigger ships would be to decrease resolution, but that takes away from the overall game itself (small screens = less simultaneous action).

That was exactly my point! But if this isnt to attract new people it doesn't matter. Still a little small, but on fullscreen it's watchable for sure.

rather than watching in full screen, one should just hit change the quality from 360 to 720p then hit the "Pop Out" button next to the quality button. it looks way better than full screen, at least on bigger resolutions.

you could try changing your bullet graphics, at the moment they are too small to be seen properly. you could change them to these:

post scriptum: at least now there's solid proof that i can't team in javelin. but, it'll be educational for other javelins: this is how you do NOT play the ship.

No playing for me. Might cut back this season on lj. For the first time around, because I know a lot of people want to be seen on screen in HD, I'm going to try and include as many competitive matches as possible with more squads. Lineup going to look like this unless I get spammed by a ton of Warbirds to capture their match.

Yeah, been tinkering around with settings. It should be ready to go by league time. Big bullets and colored bursts. Thanks and hope my game doesn't crash or do anything funky Sunday.

For league matches, you could perhaps consider increasing font size of chat/playername's, from small (that you are probably using now) to medium size, so this way trash talk on teamchat would be seen.

Good point. It was already set on medium, so I increased it to large. I'll test out some games with the chat settings tomorrow. Thanks.
