Since no one else has had the time to make a week 5 thread, I thought since I had a little bit of extra time, I would start this weeks thread.
Paladen (1-3) vs Sweet (4-0)
On paper this doesn't look like much of a game, and depending on who shows, it might not be, but paladen has played a bunch of good games, and came up short, but the effort has been there, and I believe that will continue through out twl. However, Sweet has been impressive thus far in leading all squads with a 4-0 mark. Paladen will be led by jessup, rainbow seeker, exalt and company, and look for them to try to push the tempo a bit more against a midrange squad such as sweet. Dak, Jones, Riverside, and the normal crew we're used to from sweet will continue to team well and look for them to continue their roll.
Winner : Sweet 50-36
Penetrate (0-4) vs Pandora (2-2)
This game will probably be one of the more lopsided games of the day as penetrate has basically limped into every game they have been in, nevertheless they are there and they do give it their best. Unfortunately for them, mythril is mad as fuck with his ex-fiance and after pulling out 19 kills last week in a defeat, look for him to rip apart this poor penetrate line (no offense guys). Pandora has been playing well of lately and their teaming is beginning to come along and this week should be no different.
Winner Pandora: 50-31
Fierce (3-1 ) vs Syne (0-4)
This is another game that could be one sided, or it could actually be entertaining, that all depends on who shows for both squads. So far Fierce, has had a few close calls, but last week had a good showing vs freebie and began to show signs of life. Syne on the other hand, has shown anything but that. We're all accustomed to them being in twl and wanting to play, however the results just have not been there. On that note, paky dude, rasaq and company will need a strong and full line in order to compete for a W. Fierce will hopefully have some of their core guys back, and get them going along for the rest of twl.
Winner: Fierce 50-37
Freebie (1-3) vs Savanger (2-2)
This game could be a lot closer than some people may think. Freebie has suffered a few loses this season, but have had decent play from most of its returning starters. A poor showing last week however, keeps them searching for answers, their wbs need to get active, and get active fast , otherwise they can kiss any hopes of playoffs goodbye. Savanger on the other hand, has played really well even tho their 2-2 record may not show it. Led by Peru , Halls and company, they have a legit shot at twl and can give anyone a run for their money. I look for savanger to push the tempo early and often and end this one pretty quickly.
Winner: Savanger 50-40
Game of the Week (IMO)
Asians (3-1) vs Sk8 (3-1)
So far this season, Asians has been the biggest surprise to many , including myself. They have continued to play at a extremely high level and their teamwork has been on key. They suffered a set back last week against sweet, but sweet is the hottest squad in twld. Sk8 played a very tight game last week vs pandora, and look for them to get their game on track, led by Ease, burnt, and b4serman. They always play twl games close and they wont take Asians as a pushover. Asians will rely on Zagis, Wage, and Moto Trucker to lead their charge, but I predict they will fall a bit short.
Winner Sk8 50-42
