Suggestion: Twl-HZ twd-HZ

In my opinion the ?go hockey and spook's bot(s) would be a great addition to twl and twd.
What do you guys think?

Could be an idea. But Hockey squads cant be the same as Twd squads. There would have to be a new site like twd.trenchwars.org for Hockey, where every player is allowed to join a 2nd squad aka Hockey squad that is totally cut off the Twd squad and has nothing to do with it afterall. Because elseway it would just suck

A hockey division would be a nice addition to the zone if the bot glitches are fixed.

I think if they create this in TW HZ will get even more mad at the staff. They were already mad at me last season that TWHT was happening etc... It needed some talking etc before they agreed with it.

Why can't everyone that wants to play insetad go to HZ, it's not like Tw loses population that way. We can all play 2 zones if you didn't know.

People seem to be afraid of being "too bad" for HZ, which is stupid. There is no minimum-level-restriction there. You will also only get better the more you play there.

Well, because if you're euro and try playing HZ it's not gonna happen. League is in the middle of the night for us euros and so are the active playing times.

And that attitude is why they play so late, because no euros play. If more euros would go there they would have to play games earlier.

Ive been playing both TW and HZ for 10+ years and I can tell you that HZ players are biased for the most part and wont add anyone that is not a hz pro player in scrims. Its hard to get good playing time out of pub which is always killed by scrim. So its hard for tw players to play there. Its not our fault HZ cant get more than 20 ppl in its zone. Its always dead unless rshl and mshl are going on. Bring on TWD Hockey ladder for starters. And if it works out maybe we could consider a twl league. This a good idea and should be brought up to league staff.

Lots of people would enjoy being able to start a competitive game similar to TWD that goes on all year long and any time of the day rather than just the new annual tournament. Not saying we get rid of TWHT, just that it becomes more like TWL.

This of course all being if the interest is there from enough people which would be tough to determine (at least for a little while).

Sure we can play two zones but TW has the advantage of a fairly steady group of people logged in at all times from all over this rock rather than just between 5 and 10 pm est. I'd love to play HZ more but it is rarely active when I get a chance to play late at nite, I go in and play with the line goalie by myself in pub usually.

If TW and HZ were to work together somehow it could benefit both zones quite a bit because the HZers are diehards as we all know, plus many have at least a mild interest in the other TW games that we offer.

Especially since the league can see action from squads who rarely would ever play each other. Having competitive matches in between basing, warbird and javalin squads in hockey might bring a new element to spice things up.
I'm for a TW hockey division, I think we could see some good activity generated.

I wouldn't worry about HZ, the HZ pros will keep playing their high tier matches in HZ without letting any nubs to learn which is fine for them, some might even come to play here as well, but either way it will ONLY help to increase activity, even if we never see a TWLH.

Dude we sure have to worry about HZ. They went all over me when I did TWHT. So if current staff will do something like TWHD HZ will get mad at them again. I had to change rules, play on times that HZ wasnt active etc.
