Dude we sure have to worry about HZ. They went all over me when I did TWHT. So if current staff will do something like TWHD HZ will get mad at them again. I had to change rules, play on times that HZ wasnt active etc.

So get them to add more TW players in scrim. When I first started trying to play HZ I only got in scrim when Violence or someone else on Creasers had cap. I don't even bother going to HZ anymore unless we have a league game because pub is rarely going and I don't get added in scrim.

I don't see how HZ "went all over" you. They pm you nonstop? What can they possibly do?

As an ex mod from both zones I guess I could share few of my thoughts.

First, you are not allowed to start any hz division or league here without approval from HZ sysop. Alltho Im sure you will get it if you dont act like retards and try to co-operate with hz staff.

But the point is, if you actually give some thought to this and try to co-operate with hz staff, this might have bigger benefits than just single tournament. Maybe not so much for TW as a zone, but for HZ and players who likes both zones. People say that they would like to play HZ, but dont want to 1) sit in spec just to wait that noone adds them in scrim 2) play league games at 3am.
Well if you get this tournament or such working well, it has a chance to fix both of these issues. More people means chance of pub being alive and mshl being resurrected. Also, if hz staff sees that tw has lot of players wanting to play hockey, they sure need to give more thought to the pub/scrim issue, which is driving all the new players away right now.

Short version

1) You dont own rights for hockey league, dont steal it without consulting with hz staff
2) If you make it right, this might have big benefits for the people who just wants to play some casual hockey

We've had 2 hockey leagues already within Trench Wars, I don't know what kind of permissions we had. Although Demonic (I think) was/is SMod there, and she created TWHT for Trench Wars. I don't know if SpaceHiker/Pure_Luck had any trouble from Arnk or Bucky then.

Space had to deal with arnk when I did TWHT. Demonic quit HZ staff as far as I know.

2 hockey tournaments, not leagues . And the relationship wasn't all that good..
