Doesn't really affect Penetrate at all, but I was looking at "On the move" and seen that Raidar had left Hit and was thinking how there should be a new rule to counter hardlock/softlock that allows a squad to fill the void of one of their starters leaving the squad. Captains really have no control over people leaving a squad. I mean there are certain things that you can do to keep a player happy and talk things over if certain issues popped up like the dislike of another player or so on, but if someone leaves because a certain squad was created or a player was unhappy with the squad's performance there's really nothing the caps can do. You can't predict a player's intention and if that player is going to stay with the squad for the entire duration of the season. Raidar was a huge key to two of Hit's wins in LD, they are 3-3 and in contention for a playoff spot. They lost both Sika and Raidar and because of these locks this squad has no way possible of filling those major voids for this league or LJ. I just figure when you lose a TWL player, you should be able to fill that void only. Also, pretty sure Sika was a starter and Raidar added more depth to their LJ line.
I'm sure Hit has a spot locked for LJ, but they do need help in LD. I think that with the squads that don't make the playoffs, Hit should be able to pick a player from those squads and fill the vacancies OR atleast add 5 more available spots to all of the playoff squads and make playoffs more competitive than ever.
Thing I always hated about this game was the fact that captains really don't get tested much. What's so hard about recruiting players, accepting/denying applications, axing people, proposing/accepting times for TWL, notifying players of game times. Understandable that a squad, majority anyways, only make TWL because of caps decisions throughout the season on who to recruit/play, but if there was a roster cap and a few other things added then the difference between being an assistant and cap would be more apparent other than having control of who's on/off the squad. TWDT really does a great job of really showing us who some of the true captains are in this game.
Meh, don't feel like reading this over and seeing if everything came out right and apologies to any confusion.
