TWL Stat update!

There's been enough games played this season now through 6 weeks to actually get some genuine data, so let's check in on the stats! I'll post a listing of the filtered and sorted players followed by some analysis, and then list everyone. As always, I understand that kills and deaths don't paint the full teaming picture, but for the simplicity of this article I'll assume they do.

Scoop stands at the top of the charts, which conveniently is where his squad Fierce is also located. Deez Nuts and Apok are also in the top 5, so Scoop is definitely not alone. Thunder is 2nd in the standings, which again coincidentally is where their best player, Ease, also sits. A2m is the only member of the top 13 for his squad Dice (the 3rd place squad), which definitely puts his name in the running for the season's Most Valuable Player so far. He is probably the season's biggest surprise as well, as I haven't seen him play this well in WB since I first figured out how to DD in '04.

On the other side of the spectrum, I'm looking at you Sophomore of the Year. Riverside and Vt, two stalwarts of the Sweet squadron, have also underperformed this year, and that is a big reason why Sweet has started out so poorly (that and a front-loaded schedule). It's not too late to turn their season around. Megaman89 is also significantly lowering his rating in my master stat spreadsheet (which I'll update at the end of the year). This, however, is probably more of a correction than a surprise. Not that he is a bad WB, but that his rank was probably a bit inflated.

There are 2 classic powerhouse squads in this league, and they dominate the leaderboard here. Dice and Thunder have the first 6 players listed, with Thunder having 4 players in the top 6, and Dice possessing the other 2. Fludd, although he's played the minimal number of games, tops the charts here (which is a big improvement from the last TWDTJ season). Euforia is surprisingly having his first statistically positive competitive season since I started tracking a few years back. Hum drum, Ease is in the top 5 of both leagues once again. Of players not on Dice or Thunder, Spikey and Zidane have been the driving forces of Sage achieving a 5-1 record. Shoutout to Keith, who has managed an even record despite playing on a winless squad.

Bram and Ravege...oh boy. While TWLD didn't have anyone with a K/D under 0.5 (with 3 games played), that is not the case in this league. Also, god bless him for showing up every game, but Fierce may want to consider finding someone else to take Kira_Yamato~'s spot. Damn that apostrophe looks awkward on that name. Almost worse than his 19 kills in the 5 games besides the one he went even. It's also pretty hard to do as bad as Necromotic has in 3 games considering his reputation and the fact that his team is undefeated.

I don't know the reason for the TWL site to be wrong or if my math is wrong, but I certainly don't want these numbers getting mixed in with my previous TWL stats. I think the rest of you should check and make sure your stats are good. Just a heads up, not your fault BM. <3 Good work as always.
