But thanks to staff fucking up we had to do a best of 3 and sweet (lb vs hit or so) and asians (ld vs diso) both lost.
i actually made 1 or 2 helpcalls about this and the_paul came up with crap to me.

First t_p was talking crap like "because Asians isnt competitive enough" (the fuck, its "Tenure") and besides that, in wb Crazy > Tenure now that was not really a reason back then not to let Tenure play LD instead of Epidemic.

Yes most of our javs were allowed to leave us when we did not qualify...thanks to STAFF MISTAKES, that does not make us worse than Tenure. We were not even asked for our opinion here. Besides that Tenure did not even exist at the ladder lock.

And then Sweet, Sweet players are wayyyy better than Tenure in LB.
So dont come up with "not-competitive enough" crap to me anymore.

Did not even get an apology from staff for fucking up with the setting the right ladder lock dates + time.

Since we didnt make lj during staff mistakes we were so disappointed we quit jd'ing.

I think you underestimate us then. In both bd and jd. If our top guys show we can make the lower tiers squads it difficult. But then we choose to let our newbies gain experience as well.

I would like to publically apologize to Paul for coming across as bitching about this decision yesterday in squad chat. I realize now that he was running with this decision when at the time I thought it was more a group staff decision.
It is obvious that these decisions frustrate everyone involved and that no one ‘wins’. I give full credit and appreciation to those decision makers who are thrown into the shark tank and try to make the best decision possible, and this is what Paul has tried to do. He decision goes against several existing rules but given the context of the situation it appears to be the best one possible.

The shitty rules are again what is the problem here. Everyone should recognize that and understand that we all agreed to play under the crappy rules to begin with. Staffers should also recognize that as long as the rules are poorly written, they will have these headaches and stresses. This is where I screwed up yesterday, not recognizing that I knew upfront that the rules were shit and not cutting Paul enough slack for the contributions he is making and tough position he (and others) are in when these situation arise.

I hate whiners as much as the next person, this is why I did a rewrite and reorganization of the rules for consideration two weeks ago. Whether or not it is used doesn’t matter, hope was to stimulate those in charge to consider changing the rules. Perhaps this situation will be further stimulation.
