sooooo stupid, 2 more bad teams in ld/lj.
Uzi won't have their players back, go Spastic! (under 1000 twd rating, clearly twld ready)
I understand wanting to add more competition/letting newbs play, but it won't do that. meh

it was a pleasant surprise when ph opened up TWL to more teams last season, and it worked out well. with roster cap at 35 this season, more squads have popped up, so wouldn't it make sense to account for that in twl?
credit where it's due, kthx fed me that idea at the last minute. i was ready to send invites for 10/10/8, and he pointed out that there was enough talent on the top remaining squads for them to deserve an invite. they may not have won many games, but they showed up and played relatively well. warpath in particular was good enough to win some games if they had just caught a few breaks. it was good for the league, and for the newer players who got some league experience.
as long as the additional squads will at least take it seriously enough to show up and try to put on a decent match, this is a good move.
