TWL Awards?

I always thought an MVP ought to be the player who did his best to support the team and do what he is asked to do. As such, perhaps the captains from each team nominate one player from their squad whom they think deserves the year's MVP, these would would win 'Squad MVP'. Then everyone votes on each of these for an overall league MVP?

I like the idea of the squad captains nominating one or two players from their squad, then the general population can vote for the winner in a poll or whatever.

The general idea is good, but your trying too hard. There should be a league MVP in every league for the season, playoffs, and maybe an overall TWL mvp. Apart from that is too much and it will turn into something watered down and stupid. You are going to need links on the roster page to see people's badges 2 seasons from now.

I wanted to avoid this thread but.. looking at the vote count I feel like I have to speak up and say that Tiny is completely right and if you do something like this.. less is more and don't give the winners ribbons on the twd site.

there's 2 less squads in lb than there are in ld and lj so there will only be 3 games each week for lb squads

I think staff should secretly give out awards to staff friends and not tell anyone about it.
