Changing Squads and Eligibility

There's been quite a few questions about squad changing and eligibility so I figured I'd post here and summarize. Basically, since soft lock is not yet in effect (it will be after week 2 games) everyone is still eligible to change squads. Remember though that TWL rosters are frozen on the weekend so you would need to be rostered before then. If anyone joins a squad before this weekend and is unable to be added to the TWL roster after the 1 week wait period due to soft lock please contact a TWL op. Obviously if you haven't been on a TWL roster (or played any games, remember the new soft lock rule) you won't be considered to be under soft lock anyway and you will still be free to join a new squad until hard lock. That being said, are they unable to add you to roster until your waiting period is up? So, if you join before the soft lock, they can not add you on the roster until ur elligible to play, which is after the soft lock? From what I recall, you use to be able to add people to the roster no matter what, they just had a mark through their name saying they were inelligible. Enlighten me

they can add anyone but the bot wont let you play the game that weekend.

it depends on how soon before the lock you join. if you change names/squads you are not eligible to play until you have missed 1 full week of games. if you join a squads TWD roster before the lock but are unable to be added due to the 1 week wait period, you will still be allowed to be added after the lock but a twl op will have to do it manually for you.

i'm not sure if the site lets you add players before the week passes or not. i've had a few captains say they weren't able to add players until the week was over but the twl site is really buggy so there may be some cases where it lets you. either way the player would still be ineligible to play.

Suggestion: next season have one lock in the second week. After that no joining no new twl squads twl roster. Simple and fair. Dunno y u put so much effort in making it ez for the faggot hoppers in this game to do this anyway.
