Wsup. So I missed HoN for week 8 because I had a motion memo due for my legal writing class. Since I missed last week I'll be sure to add an extra dose of troll in this week's HoN even though it was a complete snooze-fest:
Game of the Week....There is None
All the games this week were lopsided thrashings. All matches went their predicted routes.
hit vs. Dice
Hit 31 , Dice 50
Hit: Heisman, roadhead, welt, rows, sulfur
Dice: megaman89, EvilDeed, Tiny, delectable, Best
Complete bore. Megaman, EvilDeed, and Tiny all added themselves to pad their stats while at the same time allowing delectable and best to play in an LJ game (despite being no shows for most of the LD season). Most of hit struggled to get kills as Dice just steamrolled them as predicted.
HOT: Tiny for going positive with a 6-1.
NOT: Not fair to give this to anyone, so I'll just give it to Best for misrepresenting his skill level with that name.
Fierce vs. Penetrate
Fierce 50, Penetrate 36
Fierce: Children, Apok, Marge, Eelam, Rough
Penetrate: fit of rage, Lionheart, Ricko, Trasher, veloce
Following suit, the game was pretty much over before it started, however fit of rage gave us something to laugh at in the process. Children, in an effort to desperately pad his stats (and to hold onto something positive in a somewhat negative season for Fierce) held down his shift key and was liberally lobbing his bombs across the map, netting him 20 kills. Apok Marge and Rough rounded out support for Children's pushing while Eelam gathered an apathetic 6-10. Lionheart tried to hold it together for Penetrate with a 13-10 but with fit of rage going 0-10 with 1 tk (a technical -1 - 10 record), not even Cheat Engine would have been a deus ex machina for Penetrate.
HOT: Children 20-10 (Ask Ease for a link, others have gotten over 100 kills in the regular season more than once)
NOT: fit of rage 0-10 and a tk. l o l .
Thunder vs. Lego
Thunder 50 , Lego 36
Thunder: flared, infrared, zidane, byakko, tsunami
Lego: Zizzo, Sakke, Murder, Mikkiz, dreamwin
I was actually apprehensive for this LJ because you never know which Lego squad will show up. When Zizzo and Sakke's strays are on point, it is hard to compensate for their insane lack of aim. Coupled with dreamwin's mindless lag rushes, Lego can be a formidable squad to jav against. However, flared showed up today with a strong 24-esque headband (without the Amputate-like running) and shut any possibility of a Lego upset down. I hit about 2 to 3 2fers thanks to zidane's luring (thanks for the horrid tk in the corner by the way). Lego just seemed to be intimidated as evidenced by their fragmented play despite byakko besting amnesti's 5-9 last week with a 5-10.
HOT: flared 15-4. You got your hot, now shut up.
NOT: byakko 5-10, according to Ease, rainbow seeker is a better jav at the moment
Potenza vs. Juans
This was a forfeit. Only thing to note is that qpr was probably saved from another negative week. Hopefully he took the time off to try and at least get on Versa's level in terms of javelin skills.
Heist vs. Penetrate
Heist 50 , Penetrate 40
Heist: Johnie, kess, skatarius, torcher, Zazerick
Penetrate: Bacon, Ricko, Trasher, Tsumetai, veloce
Unfortunately this match fared no better. Heist had two LJ's today and they pulled this early match off. I did not catch any of this LJ because I was playing against Lego, however I was informed that this match was not close. The 10 kill difference can be attributed to a mid-game choke (from 40-28) by Heist, according to renzi. This is not surprising considering torcher and Zazerick hold down their back arrow in JD's as well as LJ's (discussed below).
HOT: Tsumetai 4-10, for playing an LJ
NOT: Tsumetai 4-10, for playing an LJ and going 4-10 against torcher and Zazerick
Heist vs. Real
Heist 40, Real 50
Heist: ryouko, torcher, zazerick, MHz, skatarius
Real: Via, 24, Rule, Amnesti, Sika
I expected so much more from this matchup. However, Heist's real javs did not show up yet again and my hopes were quickly dashed as I realized torcher and Zazerick are awful and their play styles are ONLY suited for baseelim. From the beginning Real, despite showing their traditionally safe javing style, established firm position on the map and did not look back. Torcher and Zazerick were busy trying to mimic Roiwerk, and play baseelim on the LJ map. Honestly if these guys play anymore for rec, Heist might as well not show for LJ playoffs. Ryouko (who the funk is this guy) displayed a level of javing I have not seen since the likes of moltenrock. His shots were unwarranted at all times and his aim was comparable to a paragraph typed out by amnesti's beautiful mind. MHz didn't help as he was quickly subbed out at 2-7 by renzi who was the only one who held his weight in an otherwise abysmal showing by Heist with a 6-3.
HOT: 24, 12-8. Do you sweat when you play?
NOT: torcher, Zazerick, ryouko. You three cost Heist this game. Learn to team and push.
Also, this zone has a collection of the most sensitive virgins I have ever witnessed on the internet. Learn to deal with a joke. Fuck your feelings.
