Wsup everybody.
Real v. Dice
Going into today's TWLJ matchup, Dice was the defending champion. Given Real's washed up lineup of javelins gathered from the land before time, it seemed as if Dice had this in the bag (given Thunder was unfortunately knocked out the round before).
Round 1
Real 50 ; Dice 43
Real: Rule, Psymorph, Sika, via, 24
Dice: Cape, megaman, waven, Jamal (LOL), Stayon
Despite the score this round was a surprising massacre for Real. I have never seen Cape use the back arrow so much. Megaman tried to hold it together for Dice, but Real seemed to just overwhelm with Sika and Psymorph playing their awful high risk high reward style of javing. In a twist, Dice had to add JAMAL as Tiny and Evildeed were busy circlejerking with each other. Due to this, or nerves, all of Dice switched from their aggressive TWJD style to a passive Amputate/24 style for the first round. This of course was a huge mistake as Real thrives when they are not pressured with the rush. Psymorph liberally taped down his forward arrow and pressed tab netting him a 17-8 MVP. Rule somehow managed to pull 10 kills out of nowhere. On the flip side, Stayon and Waven barely outkilled Rule with their combined 5-10 and 6-10. Even fearless leader Cape was forced to play passive as Real just overall dominated Dice this round. But towards the end, Tiny and Evildeed showed up inevitably changing the dynamic for round 2.
Hot: Psymorph 17-8
Not: Stayon and waven 5-10 and 6-10 respectively
Round 2
Real: 24, Rule, Psymorph, Sika, via
Dice: waven, megaman, Stayon, Cape, Tiny
Not having to start their lineup with a baser, Dice showed some aggression at the start. Tiny had a remarkable round and lead the aggressive push Dice is accustomed to. However Real kept this round close as washed up Sika lobbed his lag rushes. At one point, Real had the lead and it looked like all hope was lost for Dice. However, this match took a sharp turn in favor of Dice when Via 2-fer tk'd Psymorph and 24 giving Dice a momentary 3v3 in which they eliminated Rule. Rule, in typical form, choked for Real with an abysmal 5-10. From there on, Stayon slowly picked off horrible Sika, and waven played safe and tactically eliminated the rest. It is worthy to note that Cape had to be subbed out with an awful 3-8 by a2m to only be subbed by Evildeed. It seemed as though Dice was throwing everything they had just to fight to see another round; and that they did. After a comeback well deserved, Dice was ready to carry their momentum into round 3 and finish Real's washed up lineup (minus via) and net themselves another title.
Round 3
Real: 24, Sika, Psymorph, via, Rule
Dice: Tiny, Cape, megaman, waven, Stayon
This round was complete slaughter. Real jav'd like Mellow and just could not establish sound footing from the start. Psymorph replicating a sk8 1-7 TWLJ final performance, went 1-7 again. The idiot's all out aggressive play style cost Real the match as they were forced to play behind almost the whole round. Sika tried his hardest with an 11-10 to eliminate the Dice players with high deaths but alas waven and Cape finally stopped sucking and went 13-4 and 13-8 respectively. Via also tried valiantly but unfortunately was held down by Rule's abysmal 6-10. All in all, this was the kind of play I expected to see from Dice all 3 rounds but at least they brought it when it mattered.
Hot: Cape 13-8 and an MVP
Not: Rule for adding himself and Psymorph for blowing a huge dick with a 1-7 right when it counted.
Congratulations to Dice on another TWLJ victory!
As I finish this thread up, round 1 of TWLD has just finished with Fierce going 50-28 against Real. Rule please don't cut your wrists too badly tonight, suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem.
In other news, I have deleted SS from my computer and don't plan on playing again. At the very least I figured this would make some of you happy.
With that being said, have fun in Trench Wars and stay small virgins.
