Yo shaddow, ty 4 dis. The problem here isn't me, the problem are the ppl that keep whining about it. They haven't done anything for this zone and they judge me by my name. This is partly LF's fault, partly Aura's. But ok, I can live with that.
As for the league: Aura can have his precious TWL and fail this year, but we gonna do something new for newbs and maybe implement changes into next year's TWL. No worries, let them troll, I don't even see it anymore. Too busy working for TW.

yeah, its great for everyone when its the same 1 or 2 squads winning every year (or same people on a different squad)
we could just skip everything and let then have a single match and save everyone 3 months

the point is that the talent pool is stagnant, sometimes you need to mix things up and make some changes to get more people excited and interested

I don't understand this at all. People who recently started playing sports will obviously suck at them. They can't possibly play on the same level as people who have played it for years.

Only a chosen few people from a country can join the olympics, does this mean that we should just disregard everyone else because they are still terrible? Enough with these stupid sports comparisons already, subspace is a game. A game that needs players, players active in the community. An amateur league as suggested should exist to bridge the gap between newbie players and established players, that's it. There's no fame in winning this thing, it should simply exist to serve as something to keep more players interested. TWD doesn't work for this particular purpose.

TWL has always had MEDIOCRE squads in it, don't you fucking get it? Sweet was a mediocre squad the first season it was around. The next 3 seasons there were only 2 or max 3 squads that could beat us, everyone else was mediocre (though, they never liked to admit it). Do you see where I am going with this? I'll explain it again: There are only 2-3 good squads per league every season, rest are mediocre in comparison. So, tell me again, why, oh why, should we have an elitist attitude and still invite these terrible squads into twl (squads numbered 4-8 on the ranking list) when we want this to be the greatest competition in TW? Why the hell would I even want to play against dice in warbirds when I would rather play against Fierce or Thunder? Call me an arrogant prick if you want to, it takes one to know one, eh.

To recap:
-Amateur League should be a different league altogether from TWL.
-It should serve as a bridge from pub into getting serious about this game because it is much more fun to commit to something like that instead of an occasional pub reset or a prac (TWD).
-Only 2-3 good squads exist every season in warbirds, yet 8 are invited and we still whine about not wanting to play vs. newbies

Regarding the current situation, 8 TWDD, 8 TWJD and 5 TWBD squads fall out. They then battle it out in a tournament-like TWL Amateur to battle for the remaining spot for the Regular Season of TWL.

- TWL Amateur- Finals: The Finals are played after the last TWL preseason match, i.e. 5pm EST on Sunday. The winners of the TWL Amateur proceed to the Regular season of TWL. (Also applies for TWJD)

I disagree with this because I think AML and TWL should be two different things, tho, if there's a fierce competition between the final two positions on the TWD ladder we could use that Cup thing that was used successfully in the past.

Taking from your own words, TWL has always had mediocre players and teams, so your suggesting taking those mediocre squads and putting them in AML. Because the way this system seems to work is to make the elite squads into a smaller, eliter TWL in an already shrinking population, and take the remaining players not good enough to play + newbs and create the AML. Sweet would not have been half the team they were, when they won, had they been playing wiibimbo, megamanexe in the AML as opposed to playing against real contender squads their first season and pulling off a half way decent record. An an arguement for this, would be that AML squads could play the better squads in TWD for more practice. That being said, why the fuk do we need AML when we already have TWD and TWDT. Maybe we should divide shit up even more while our population dwindles. You need to get the newbs to make up this league before you make the league for the non-existent newbs to fill it based on speculation of a rise in new players. By the time it's all said and done, we will have 8 twd leagues, different elims based on the ship and sub elim events for amount of deaths, 6 twl leagues based upon age/gender/and skill level with 2 squad competeing in each league. Can you stfu with the dumbass ideas. Maybe you should think ur shit through before comin at me with this half ass argument.
