New TWLB Squad

I would like to officially welcome Burning Rose to TWL-B! Burning Rose is already part of TWL as a TWL-J team and I wish them fun and success in their new home.

They will start with a 0-4, 0-400,000 record in TWLB for the 4 games they were not part of.

Their round 5 game vs. Pallies (which was postponed last week awaiting the naming of the new TWLB squad) will be played this weekend along with their round 6 game vs. Whiterabbits.

Sigh.. BR in TWLB.. :/ I think when it comes to the point where HCK-Limited and burning rose get in TWL.. this means that you are allowing too many squads in TWLB.


Edit: I would say the same if War Angels got into TWLB. I think that we have some potential in basing, but aren't ready for TWLB yet. Besides, it will be alot nicer making it in next season because we would get a fresh record and have more time to improve.


I think that Burning Rose has potential in basing too, but they aren't ready for TWLB either. It is better than having forfiets.. but still... I think there should be fewer squads let into TWLB to keep this from happening.

It makes it more special if only a select few squads get in. In twlb all the fucking squads that were interested in basing are in it pretty much. It shouldn't have to come to the point were the sub-squads are squads like Hck-Limited, Burning Rose, and War Angels.

I always thought of TWL as a league of the best of the best, only the better squads. This went to shit with squads like Hck and Burning Rose getting in.

I suggest that next TWLB season the squads who get in are the squads with the most points in TWBD. This way.. squads like British Squad, Hck, Burning Rose, Cripples, and Paladen (even though Paladen dropped out, which I respect them very much for)
don't get into TWLB and fuck up the integrity of the league.

I'm not sure what a good number would be to cut the number squads down to, but it should be enough so that when a TWL squad has a problem and dissolves or drops out.. there is actually a GOOD squad to take their place.

I don't think it really matters. Burning Rose has some pretty decent players and having them in TWLB shouldn't dimish the quality of TWL. Granted they're a new squad, but they hafta get off the ground somehow. The true quality of the squad will be determined in due time (no really, if burning rose dosent squaddissolve after the first couple of losses).

I disagree.. the system is gonna weed these people out. the people on the lower rungs are gonna have to fight to keep their spot, the people near the top have (and should have) an automatic pass into the next season. call it laziness, but I know I don't feel like fighting for our spot, I'd rather play twd for fun because I don't feel like we need to prove anything.

I think the number is where its at to make the ladder work out right, I never tried to draw these ladders, so I don't know, but it seems like 16 would work out better than 12.

besides, this system makes the big games more special, and you know which weeks you need all your best to show up, and what weeks guys can take the day off.

My only real complaint is that diso got in the easy conference and we didn't.

I guess that's not a *real* complaint.
