Going to try and be objective as possible and not include my opinion.
SEEDS
1) Fierce
Starting line: Apok, Skepsis, DEEZ NUTS, Raazi, and Vash
Subs in order: death row, Welt, 24, Tripin
As far as I know, LaSenza might not be playing TWL this year so I decided to leave him out. If he does play, then obviously he will take Vash's or Raazi's starting spot.
Fierce still has a very strong core and I expect them to do very well this year once again. Look for Apok and DEEZ to carry.
2) Sweet
Starting line: Engineers, Riverside, Dak, Jones, and Eric Clapton
Subs in order: Burnt, Cres, Jack
Sweet isn't very deep this year but if their starters show up every week then they should make a strong run. Sweet's biggest question mark is activity but I think that might change when TWL starts. Look for Engineers and Riverside to carry.
3) Cobra
Starting line: Creature, Ricko, Casket, mindtrix, and Peru
Subs in order: Delectable, Kentaro, Murder, Guero, Unabled, Geisha, Turban (shout out for x-factor playir cud be game winnir)
Being by far the deepest squad in TWLD Season 17, Cobra's starting line can change on a week-to-week basis because of so many starter-quality warbirds. If delectable and geisha start getting more active and taking the game a little more seriously, they could be inserted in the starting line-up at any time. Murder has proven himself in last year's TWL but has been inconsistent in TWD since, if he gets it going, he may do some damage as well. Look for anyone to carry on this underrated wild card squad.
4) Raid
Starting line: Reaver, Best, Kyou, RaCka, Vys
Subs in order: Bon, Stylez, plob#f, Rasaq, kid kaos
Having a strong quicksand starting line with the addition of Reaver can either be deadly or self-destructive. I'm curious to how Best's and RaCka's in your face rushing style will mix with the rest of the squad's more laid back approach. Raid has a strong starting line but does not have the proper subs in case someone doesn't show or people start lagging. Look for Reaver and Best to carry.
5) Potenza
Starting line: Iron Survivor, okyo, Tarnish, Speedkillz and Zagis
Subs in order: Bietje, resurrected, qpr
For the fifth and final seed, I chose Potenza over Pandora for the time being. I believe that Potenza is once again underrated even though they pulled off some upsets last season. Pandora is obviously not taking LD seriously this year and do not even have five warbirds available (yet). Look for Iron Survivor to carry most the load.
