Not HON related, but a quick blurb on an interesting topic: Clinching the final playoff position.

Sage will need wins on Spastic, Raid and Sweet to make playoffs.
While spastic, who are also battling for 6th place, have a much tougher road: Penetrate, Sage, Revenge

Sage would have likely sneaked into a playoff position, but after the abrupt loss of a2m, tabarnak!!!, wbm and kess, that possibilty is now questionable.

This creates an interesting showdown, as a weakened sage must now face a revived spastic line who are more than capable of causing an upset. With the loss of virtually every starting shark from sage's lineup, they are now forced to come up with a solution to fill this sharkless void. (Perhaps with one of their original starting spiders)

Significant LB matches to watch out for in the remaining regular season:

Sage vs Spastic: Due to the fact that there is so much on the line for both teams, with playoff hopes at stake.

Pandora vs Sweet:
If pandora wins, sweet may be at risk for getting knocked out. This would make things interesting. The battle of Sweet vs Sage, another must win matchup for both teams.

Pandora vs Penetrate:
Both teams are proven heavy hitters in season 17. Should make for an enjoyable game to watch if Mattey / Vatican Assassin show up. Strong crams, good FR battles. Mutual respect amongst both teams abilities.

Sweet and Cobra will be facing off with Revenge, looking to put a dent on a perfect regular season. With no doubt, all eyes from spec hoping for an upset, adding some enticement to these two mystery matchups.


Thoughts, and predictions? Who will clinch 6th position, how will the remainder of season 17 unfold ?

Raid upsets Sage with a lineup consisting of 1 shark, 3 javs, 2 lancs, and a warbird

haha, I think we'd only need to beat Raid/Spastic to get 6th, but I doubt we'll get by Spastic, and in the unlikely event we did, would get crushed in the quarters, so the whole point is moot.

we'll try to get eight to show for the sake of good sportsmanship, but sage is pretty much dead. will be funny when zizu/spikey show up Sunday wondering where everyone is though!
