Playoff Format

I agree.. cross-conference play-offs...

my reasons for this opinion are somewhat selfish though.. I think our conference is way stronger than the one diso is in, so if we have to fight through the stronger conference the entire season, let them do it in the playoffs.

as far as I can tell, diso basically has a free ride into the finals if you don't cross the conferences.

seeing as i have no relativity to this....ill further relate the 2nd round....

so to benefit your highest record from the season.....

the 2nd round does not not neccessarily stay cross conference....

in the semis....

its the ranked by their seeded position

so in an ideal world if both #1 and #2 seeds win.... then it stays cross conference...

so you get semis:

conf A seed #1 vs conf B seed #2
conf B seed #1 vs conf A seed #2

but if lets say conference B seed #4 beats conference A seed #1 in the quarterfinals.... then they look like this

so quarters:
conf B seed 4 beats conf A seed 1
conf B seed 1 beats conf A seed 4
conf A seed 2 beats conf B seed 3
conf A seed 3 beats conf B seed 2

the one upset makes it interesting so you get for semis:

conf B seed 1 vs conf B seed 4
conf A seed 2 vs conf A seed 3

so that the #1 left over has the easiest path...that what they earned from the regular season....

course im drunk and rambling lol but its pretty simple really hehe

highest seed left over plays the lowest seed left over...
use your usual tie breakers to clear up 2 equal seeds

I would say yes to the 5 round idea. Gives chance for people who don't regularly play also for basing it's best if it were kept to 20 minutes in a round format, to potentially play 5 30 minute rounds would be too tiring.

Cross confrence is what it should be, but it won't since Elusive won't have any shot of making the finals in any league if it is.. And what's bad for Elusive is bad for Epi..

Look at the confrences, for some reason Ramp happends to be in the toughest confrence in ALL 3 leagues, while Elusive got the easy ride on the other side. If we had cross confrence Elu would face ramp before the finals most likley and that is not what the Elusive ppl want.

I bet 10$ on paypal it won't be changed, lets see if Epi can hold back the public oppinion!

Cross conference has grown on me. It'd be cool if it happened like that, it would keep people on their toes.

I don't really understand the concept of having separate conferences in the first place. Couldn't we just have 1 big conference in which everyone plays one another once? Then it'll be easy to see the top 8 go to the playoffs.

Cross match them because right now...*in twld*...its really stupid because for example Value is 5-1...and we're in 4th place, where in the other conf, a 5-1 stats is 1st....very one sided

oh also the way its looking if conf a 1 vs conf a 4....then value would have to eliminate Rampage in first round of playoffs sry ramp
