  • Season 18: TWLJ Official Hot or Not - Week 2

    Fierce vs Cougars
    50 - 25

    Fierce Lineup:
24 (subbed out), Apok, Broseph, Deez Nuts, Geio (subbed in), Last Standing (Subbed in), Tiny (subbed out)

    Cougars Lineup:
Beast, Fork, Schoolboy Q, Shaun, Soupero

This game started and ended exactly as expected. Not wanting to show any weakness, Fierce started off with a pretty solid lineup. Tiny lags out early and gets subbed by Last standing who came in and did a fantastic job making his debut. 24 Also was subbed out later in the game with lag issues, but they could have added tj hazuki and it wouldnt have changed anything. Apok lead the assault, after going on a LoL Hiatus, he returned this week in great form. Broseph and deez lured kill after kill for apok as cougars frantically lobbed bombs in hopes of hitting something or anything. There is not much more to say about this game as it was over when they said go. I would say there was fantastic teaming, but it wouldnt be hard as cougars spent most of the time coming in from spawn just to go right back out. Fierce outclassed cougars and was too much for them to handle.

Hot of the game: Apok 14 - 6

Not of the game: Cougars collectively

    Pandora vs Juans
    50 - 27

    Pandora Lineup:
Best, dreamwin, Ease, Rough (subbed out), Tanzu (Subbed in),Zidane

    Juans Lineup:
Fiora, Nowyoudie, Ready, Roiwerk,Sheriff (Subbed in), Skilder (subbed out)

This game had the potential to be another game of the week as these two squads seem to be at the top of the TWD ladders. That being said, that's the only place Juans will be at the top it seems. Still lacking any consistent 4th or 5th players, Juans got pushed around by the reigning LJ champs. Best, Ease, and Dreamwin lead the assault with their aggressive play as Juans held down the back arrow and lobbed strays. As Roiwerk tends to lure many kills with his great ship control, and NYD hitting long range shots on unsuspecting player, this was not the case due to the rest of their squad already being shredded by Pandora and finding themselves being team raped. Any doubt that Pandora would not take this season serious was just tossed out the window as they said 1 is enough. Pandora set the tone early in this game along with the climax. It was a uphill battle in the snow for Juans and Pandora broke their legs at the beginning of the journey.

Hot of the Game: Dreamwin 13 - 2 (making up for last weeks 3-10)

Not of the Game: Skilder 1 - 5

    Game of the Week
    Value vs Revenge
    50 - 40

    Value Lineup:
Commodo, dice (subbed out), Plob#f, Solske, Spawnisen, Waxy (subbed in)

    Revenge Lineup:
bugs (subbed in), Cross, Jones (subbed out), menelvagor, Mighty, Rendered (Subbed out), Requiem

This was a relatively close game all the way through. Value started off strong as Commodo made the plays and Spawnisen sniped them with his r4s. I would say he strayed them, but I watched him aim them across the screen. Jones started the game and was subbed out quickly for last weeks mvp bugs in hopes of a repeat performance. Waxy subbed in for dice in the early minutes of the game as dice was not having a good day. Revenge kept it close as they trailed the entire game until value found revenge's weakness in Rendered and exploited it. Value hunted rendered until he was a solid 0-8 and was subbed out by menelvagor a little too late. Revenge tried to salvage the huge damage already done with a small comeback near the end, but the damage had been done and it was too much for requiem to carry as he made a solid effort in his futile attempts to carry the large sack of potatoes named Rendered.

Hot of the game: Spawnisen 13 - 6

    Not of the game: Rendered 0 - 8 <----LOOOOL

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Dice vs Dudgeon
    50 - 27

    Dice Lineup:
    Confluence, Evildeed, kess, maketso, megaman89

    Dudgeon Lineup:
    Melanoma, Mikkiz, Nokkonen, Sakke, Zizzo

As we wind up our week, I will finish with our 3rd and final blowout in twlj this week. Despite the score, the game was close for the first couple of minutes as Zizzo had literally ALL the kills for dudgeon. I have to give credit where credit is due and he deserves some. Dudgeon only down a few in the first couple minutes of the game, quickly turned into 10+ in dice's favor, followed by 15+ and so on. Dice had some traction issues to start the game in the form of zizzo, but quickly deflated their tires a little bit and began to run over dudgeon again and again. Of course, last man standing for dudgeon zizzo managed to get more kills than his entire team combined. In fact, I think people had more tks on dice than kills on dudgeon. I can only hope these HoN's get better for Dudgeon because it would be pretty hard to get worse.

Hot of the Game: Zizzo 12-10

Not of the Game: Everyone else on Dudgeon

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hot of the Week: Spawnisen 13-6
Honorable mentions: Apok 14-6 / Dreamwin 13-2 (These games were not as tough)

Not of the Week: Rendered 0 - 8
Honorable mention: Everyone else on Dudgeon except Zizzo
