Dis is crazy. I never understood why all captains have the power to dissolve a squad anyways. Shouldn't the owner be the only one allowed to do that?? Scares me every time I manage our squad that I may sneeze or something and hit the wrong button by mistake. Glad it is fixed for u all.:nice:

Question. Was Mighty's second alias registered? Wouldn't that be an even greater ban? Why would some random player from an LB squad want to dissolve a LD squad? Has to be a second party involved. Either way, Paky is dumb as fuck.

First time now reading about this - I find it great that Wolf's roster and stats have been restored. Thumbs up for everyone involved who decided to do this and helped making this happen. It's a great thing and it's only fair.

I also believe that this "harmless troll action", as it's getting labelled by some of you guys is utter crap and you should feel ashamed for trying to defend the action that has been done by Mighty. It's just lame and unfair and doesn't belong into a community like ours, where fairness and friendship should matter along with competition. And competition can just happen on a fair and (at least somewhat) friendly environment. Even though I must say Wolf's captains probably aren't the brightest candles on the cake for allowing this to happen.

I think that the punishment is about right, at least TWL wise. And a TWD ban for this crap also seems about right.

not sure why random people are chyming in on this. im a member of wolf and i feel that it was a harmless troll. obviously shit like that should not happen because its a headache for staff to fix, but the majority of the blame is on paky dude for being trolled so easily. even if it was the real psymorph why would anyone make him a cap?? the guy is a jav and wolf hasn't even qualified for twlj LOL. my point is that mighty shouldn't face a 1 year ban from twd and twl because of this. i'm glad staff was able to fix this but technically speaking the entire blame should be on paky dude because what happened was legal. it was a joke. get over it. make fun of paky dude and move forward.

No question that squad captains should be aware, and on guard, against moronic behavior. This should factor into anyone’s decision when considering joining a squad. But just because there will always be dickheads doesn’t mean that we should ‘throw the squad out with the bath water’. IMO bringing them back in was the right thing to do.

One day it would be nice to see more transparency about exactly what happened and who was involved. This bit of not publishing cheater/assholes names only serves to make it more difficult for a captain to build a squad around solid people.

Where do you draw this invisible line for morons who like to do stupid shit. Hunt/Pummel is a perfect example of trolls trying to fuck with people to get a simple laugh. IMO having any league or zone punishment of Paky is just stupid. His ‘punishment’ is that everyone now knows that he made a mistake. Players can decide for themselves if they think he is a good captain and either join squads he forms or not. Players can flame him in these forums and in game if they are motivated to do so.

I really don’t get those who are arguing that Paky should get some sort of league/zone punishment. WTF happened to ‘the staff has too much power’?

Bottomline for me is that some players will ALWAYS be looking to exploit something to show just how clever they are to the other players in this 2d space game. Doesn’t matter what anyone does, this will always exist. The best that can be done is to communicate to everyone who these players are and let them make their own judgments on how to interact with them. Sadly many players are willing to associate with these players for various reasons; but we shouldn’t be trying to ‘legislate’ better behavior in this kind of situation. Paky made a mistake, Mighty exploited something that he should not have; big difference in my mind.
