  • Season 18: TWLJ official Hot or Not - Week 3

    Cougars vs Revenge
    28 - 50

    Cougars Lineup:
Beast, Not in game, Proximo (subbed out), Shaun (subbed in), soupero

    Revenge Lineup:
    Cross, hellkite, Jones, requiem, squallff8

So, as you all know, cougars were officially warned for this game for not adding the required # of players into the games. This could have easily been avoided as shaun showed up late to the game and subbed himself in instead of adding himself. I think with the lineup Revenge had, this could have been a good game between the 2 squad had it not been for stupidity. As the game would start 4v5, revenge quickly took control of the game as Cross dominated the short handed cougars. Beast and not in game put up a small fight, but they were outnumbers and could do nothing for the disadvantage. With proximo rage quitting and Shauns fantastic sub, the cougars go down still without a win for the season. Revenge squeaks by for their first victory! Huzzah!

Hot of the Game: Cross 15 - 8

Not of the Game: Shaun for his great sub

    Juans vs Fierce
    44 - 50

    Juans Lineup:
Darkstrike, Fiora (subbed out), Nowyoudie, Roiwerk, Sheriff (subbed in), Skilder

    Fierce Lineup:
Apok (subbed in), Broseph, evaden (subbed out, Mean Gene, Shock Therapy, Tiny

This match turned out to be a better game than predicted. The game started out with Fierce on top, as Tiny lead the assault with 10-6 start with Fierce up by about 10+. Fierce began to get more aggressive as Juans started to hit the back arrow, and fierce started to ram into their bombs. A 2fer bombs gives a 5v4 advantage Fierce as they began to pressure Juans, but to no avale. Juans mounted a come back putting Tiny out who chokes his way to a 10-10 which made the game a 4v4 with Juans having a full head of steam lead by roiwerk and NYD with the game tied at 35. Juans subin Sheriff, but sheriff gets trapped and knocked out of the game. Fierce now with a 4v3 advantage again, take a small lead over the Juans who are not out of the game yet. Shock Thereapy sitting on 9 for the last third of the game begins baiting Juans as they try to even the odds. A last minute sub for for Fierce, to put in agressor Apok for evaden, begins to push the Juans around and turns the tides for Fierce. Last man standing is Roiwerk with 5 deaths left as his teams is all knocked out. He tries his best to win but the numbers of Fierce overcome him. Fierce wins this squeaker.

Hot of the Game: Broseph 12-9

Not of the Game: Fiora 4 - 9

    Dudgeon vs Value
    44 - 50

    Dudgeon Lineup:
    Downfall, Micke, Mikkiz, Nokkonen, Zizzo

    Value Lineup:
Amnesti, Commodo, dice, Lorko (subbed out), Spawnisen, Waxy

Another game that turned out to be quite the nail biter. Undfeated Value taking on the defeated Dudgeon. This should have been a walk in the park for the value, but mikkiz and zizzo said otherwise. Value started this game off as it should have been. Amnesti, quickly turning into Hamnesti, starts the game off 9-1 as he leads Value into a strong lead. Dudgeon hanging on and trying to keep it close while trying to carry micke and his solid 0-10 performance, who probably would have been better off hiding in the corner. Value quickly turns the tides as they put micke out with a 5v4 advantage, but mikkiz and zizzo throw the 0-10 on theirs backs and begin to fight back. The Value lead dminishes into the mid 30's as Value players commodo, dice, and lorko begin to choke their lead away, being unable to answer for the dudgeon duo. Lorko get subbed out in hopes waxy can change the game up. Waxy though, can do no better as he goes out with his 1-2. When the dust settles, its a 2v2 mikkiz/Zizzo vs Hamnesti/spawnisen. The match could go either way as dudgeon is only down 1 with the obvious momentum going their way. It's a close game and no one seems to be able to make a move until amnesti seems to be cornered and begins eating bullets like a hooker in a gang bang. Somehow he manages to escape to quickly find himself eating mikkiz bomb right to the face. Mikkiz dazed and confused get plowed right after the eat, leaving zizzo to get teamed 2v1 with a quick turn of events. With this 2 death tranfer Value quickly kills the demoralized and confused dudgeonites and claims the day.

    Hot of the game: Amnesti

Not of the game: Micke 0-10 (ahahaha)

    Dice vs Pandora
    Game of the week
    34 - 50

    Dice Lineup:
    Children, Evildeed, maketso, megaman89, Stayon

    Pandora Lineup:
Best, dreamwin (subbed out), Ease, Rough, Tsunami (subbed in), Turban

The game of the week, which quickly turned into the dissapointment of the week. As this game was talent filled, it would seem it would be high intensity and nail biting fun, but it quickly turned into a blood bath. These two started the game off rather even as they traded deaths back and forth. Turban lead the assault with a 6-0 start as he played the game like he'd never missed a game since his TWLJ victory a couple seasons ago. Dice played rather squirrely as they seem too afraid to rush into the well organized Pandora. Pandora as predicted, focused down 1 player to give them the advantage. The unlikely person happen to be the backbone of Dice's team play Stayon, as Stayon is the best baiter/teamer on dice by far. As Stayon is peppered with bullets and bombs and raped continuously in spawn, he quickly is outed before the half way mark of the game while his team didnt lift a finger to help him. Dice's soloistic players struggled in base to keep an even record as stayon watched from spec. I literally saw no one from dice run to his aid. As dice's best player goes out quick, it's all over but the crying. Pandora's new additions to the lineup, Best and Turban, lead the assault of what turned into a sad game to watch. We also saw pandora's captain making the most selfless play of the week by sitting himself, as he realized his grip on the sandpaper quality, 10 foot long coattail of amputate had smoothed his hand into a nice marble shine, rendering him incapable of hanging on anymore, which essentially won Pandora the match.

Hot of the Game: Zidane for great Captaining

Not of the Game: Dice's inability to keep stayon alive

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hot of the Week: Hamnesti 16 - 8
Honorable Mention: Best 12 - 5 / Zidane for great Captaining / Mikkiz-Zizzo for carrying 0-10 so close to victory

Not of the Week: Micke 0 - 10
Honorable Mention: Dice teaming / Shaun subbing
